Marvel’s Coolest Shonen Jump Series Kicks Off Final Battle After 2 Year Hiatus

The exciting collaboration between Marvel and Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump is heading towards its epic conclusion, shortly after returning from a two-year break. This partnership has brought some fantastic projects to life, letting fans see beloved manga characters team up with Marvel’s superheroes and offering fresh perspectives on classic heroes. However, one particular manga series has been pushing boundaries and doing things differently since its release.

The Deadpool: Samurai comic series briefly paused in 2024 but recently resumed with new issues. Now that it’s back, a major storyline has begun: Deadpool is facing a huge battle against an army of alternate versions of himself. It’s unclear how long this final confrontation will last.

Deadpool: Samurai Kicks Off Final Battle After 2 Year Hiatus

Chapter 25 of Deadpool: Samurai picks up where the last chapter left off with the wacky Temp Pad adventures. It jumps over some events that were only available in a special Japanese release. Deadpool and his friends manage to get back to their familiar Marvel universe, and they even team up with a miniature Wolverine! However, their use of the Temp Pad has caused a problem: it’s now open for all the different Deadpool versions to invade this universe at the same time.

Despite promising to help, Sakura Spider and Loki are quickly sidelined in this last fight – Loki gets a stomachache from Deadpool’s chimichangas, and Sakura Spider has a very unfortunate run-in with a truck and then a car. This leaves Deadpool to face the entire army alone, and the odds are stacked against him. However, judging by past events, he’ll likely find a way to resolve the situation quickly.

When Will Deadpool: Samurai End?

As the last big fight begins, Deadpool: Samurai is wrapping up soon—just two chapters are left before there’s enough content for a fourth volume. Unlike major battles in other Shonen Jump series, this one won’t be a huge, drawn-out event. Expect Deadpool to breeze through it with a funny joke or reference—don’t anticipate a massive, epic conclusion. That’s simply not how this series works.

After a two-year break, Deadpool: Samurai is back, but it was always intended to be a relatively short series. We’re nearing the planned conclusion, and while the ending might not be as explosive as the beginning, fans should definitely keep an eye on what happens next.
