The already massive cast of *Avengers: Doomsday* is getting even bigger. Recent reports indicate that Marvel Studios is bringing back Nick Fury for the 2026 film, meaning he’ll be joining the crossover event this time around after previously being absent.

Even though Nick Fury created the Avengers and assembled a team of heroes, he had a very brief appearance in *Avengers: Infinity War* – he quickly called for Captain Marvel before disappearing. Following the events of *Endgame*, he spent time in space leading SABER, then returned to Earth in the *Secret Invasion* Disney+ series to handle a Skrull invasion.
