Marvel’s Wolverine: Fall 2026 Window Reaffirmed by Insomniac on PS5

Now that Grand Theft Auto 6 isn’t coming out until Fall 2026, many other game companies will probably change their release plans to avoid competing with it. But Insomniac Games has stated that Marvel’s Wolverine is still on track to launch on PS5 during that same time.

I was checking their Twitter, and it looks like you can now add the game to your wishlist! They also quietly reminded us when it’s coming out, which feels like a pretty firm, if subtle, confirmation of the release timeframe. It’s a good sign, honestly!

Because the months leading up to the holidays are so profitable for game releases, we’ll still see major games come out. However, expect most of them in September and October. Grand Theft Auto 6 is launching on November 19th, 2026, and will likely dominate conversations for months after. The only exception might be Devolver Digital, who seem to intentionally release games on the same date.
