He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are becoming popular again! We’ve already seen the She-Ra animated series on Netflix, and a live-action He-Man movie is coming out this year. Plus, a 2D action game featuring the characters is planned for April 2026. Now, another He-Man video game has been announced for release this year as well.
Amazon Luna and Mattel recently announced a new video game based on Masters of the Universe. Called Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite, the game will launch on June 5th, around the same time the new Masters of the Universe movie hits theaters. It’s a casual, cooperative game designed to be played with friends and family on a TV using just smartphones – no gaming console is needed, and it’s part of Amazon Luna’s GameNight selection.
New Masters of the Universe Game Combines Deckbuilder & Arcade Vibes
Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite is the newest game added to Amazon’s GameNight collection, a series of multiplayer games you can play using your smartphone and TV. GameNight is included with an Amazon Prime subscription and already features a diverse range of fun games. If you’re a fan of He-Man, be sure to try this new title when it launches on June 5th.
As a huge fan, I’m really excited about Legends Unite! It’s a cooperative game where you and your friends build decks of cards together. The main Adventure Mode lets you play through a classic Masters of the Universe story, teaming up to protect Castle Grayskull from all the villains. You’ll battle enemies and even practice against each other to get your decks stronger, so you’re prepared for the biggest challenges!
Besides building powerful decks, Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite includes classic arcade mini-games, which is a fun way to add some variety to the gameplay, especially if you enjoy them! You can watch the announcement trailer below to get a preview of the game.
The game features a classic 3D art style and a huge collection of cards. Players will get to control He-Man as he uses the power of Grayskull to battle foes, along with other beloved characters like Teela, Man-At-Arms, and Skeletor. Legends Unite can be enjoyed with up to four players in co-op mode, and it’s also designed to be fun for those playing alone.
On June 5th, a new game called Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite launches at the same time as the Masters of the Universe movie. You can play it for free on Amazon’s Luna gaming service if you’re an Amazon Prime member. All you need is a TV and a smartphone to start playing.
