Matt Bomer’s Son Walker Takes Billie Lourd’s Sister Ava Bozzi to Prom

Ava Bozzi and Walker Halls’ prom was a family affair.

Over the weekend, the eighteen-year-old twins celebrated their prom with their parents present. Bruce Bozzi and Bryan Lourd were there for one set of twins, while Matt Bomer and Simon Halls were there for the other.

Bruce posted a group photo taken on April 19th, and shared that Ava’s sister, Billie Lourd, was the photographer. Billie is the daughter of Bryan and the late Carrie Fisher.

Oh my gosh, the photo is just everything! There’s Walker, looking absolutely stunning in a classic tux and the sweetest little white boutonniere. And then there’s his incredibly handsome dads, Matt and Simon – Matt’s 48 and Simon’s 62, can you believe it?! – with their arms wrapped around him. It’s just… a perfect family moment, seriously!

Ava stood beside Walker, wearing a beige dress with sparkling diamond details and a black ribbon tied around her waist. She was with Bruce and Bryan, and they were all smiling for the photo.

“Prom Power!” Bruce captioned the Instagram shot. “Proud Parents!”

Bruce added the Pride flag emoji to his post and used the hashtags #marriageequality, #surrogacy, and #ivf.

The heartwarming moment received an outpouring of positive comments, including one from Billie, 33, who wrote, “Our little girl is all grown up – it makes me so emotional!”

Matt responded with five red heart emojis, and Andy Cohen—a friend of Bruce’s—wrote, “Couldn’t love this picture more.”

It was a truly happy family occasion. Bryan, now 65, and Carrie were together in the early 90s and had a daughter, Billie. They eventually split up when Bryan realized he was gay. Years later, around 2006, Bryan began a relationship with Bruce, and they married in 2016. Bryan later legally adopted Bruce’s daughter, Ava, making her his own.

Despite being 15 years apart in age, Ava and Billie are incredibly close sisters. Billie recently shared a touching birthday message in November, praising Ava and how much she’s influenced her life.

Billie expressed her disbelief and joy over her sister turning 18, sharing a collection of photos spanning their years together. She reminisced about the day they met, calling it one of the best days of her life, and explained she’d always wanted a sister. Billie described her sister as funny, kind, beautiful, and down-to-earth, adding that she’s incredibly proud and grateful to have her as a sister.
