Maxton Hall cast: Who stars in season 2 of the Prime Video teen drama?

Maxton Hall, a six-episode series on Prime Video, is based on the popular young adult novel ‘Save Me’ by German author Mona Kasten.

The show features Harriet Herbig-Matten as Ruby Bell, a student who receives a scholarship to attend the exclusive Maxton Hall private school.

In season one, Damian Hardung plays James Beaufort, a wealthy and arrogant man who tries to silence a woman after she discovers a shocking secret.

But they’re both caught off guard when a spark develops between them and they fall for one another.

Ruby is on top of the world after a romantic night in Oxford and with her biggest dream seemingly within grasp. However, a family crisis for James unexpectedly throws everything off course, and he’s the one who forces Ruby to confront a difficult new reality.

Ruby is heartbroken. She’s never felt so strongly about anyone as she does for James, and no one has ever hurt her this much.

She longs for the days before Maxton Hall, when she was anonymous and didn’t feel like she belonged to her classmates’ exclusive circle. However, she can’t move on, especially with James relentlessly trying to rekindle their relationship.

According to head writer and producer Ceylan Yildirim, the new episodes will immediately show the profound impact of James and Lydia’s mother’s unexpected death on the Beaufort family. You’ll feel the deep loss right away.

The emergency forces Ruby and James to face their deep connection, acknowledge their hurt, and deal with the emotions they’ve been hiding.

Amidst all the turmoil, they’re trying to figure out what their relationship means and what’s truly important to them. They need to discover if their love can survive this difficult time.

Several actors from the first season, including Herbig-Matten and Hardung, are back for the show’s second season.
