It quickly sold out when first released, and there’s a strong likelihood that the same rapid sale will happen with the upcoming Batman Forever Batmobile. Pre-orders for a standard edition 2-pack featuring an Alfred Pennyworth figure and a glow-in-the-dark Gold Label Amazon exclusive are set to start on August 15th at 9am PT / 12pm ET.
Starting from the official launch, you can pre-order the Batman Forever Batmobile 2-pack here on Entertainment Earth (with free US shipping on orders over $59). Additionally, we anticipate that it will also be available for pre-order on Amazon, along with their GITD Gold Label exclusive. Although the pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, considering McFarlane Toys’ recent pricing of The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler, expect the exclusive to cost around $70 and the 2-pack to be priced at approximately $100. In a gritty, detective-style series set in the 1940s Gotham City, “Batman: Caped Crusader” unfolds. This time, Barbara Gordon, daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon (Eric Morgan Stuart), emerges as a new vigilante. Instead of a crimefighter, she is portrayed as a public defender, tirelessly chasing justice which eventually leads her to confront Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent (Diedrich Bader).
