McFarlane Toys is launching a new line of figures based on the founders of Image Comics, and the first figure they’re releasing is a deluxe, 7-inch scale Spawn. They’re aiming to create the ultimate, highly poseable Spawn figure with this release.
I’m really excited about the new Spawn figure! It’s based on how he originally looked in the comics, and it comes with a ton of cool accessories – a flowing, wired cape, two chains, his spiked club, and even a few different hands and heads. There’s also a special ‘Necroplasm’ effect piece and collectible cards. What I’m most hyped about is the cape; because it’s wired, you can actually pose him in a lot more dynamic ways than with older figures. It’s going to look amazing!
We first announced this at New York Comic Con last October: following Spawn, the Image Comics Founders Series will include figures of Erik Larsen’s Savage Dragon, Jim Valentino’s Shadowhawk, Spartan from Jim Lee’s WildC.A.T.S., Sara Pezzini from Marc Silvestri’s Witchblade, and Prophet from Rob Liefeld’s Youngblood, all planned for release in 2026. The Spawn figure will include a base designed to connect with the bases of the other figures when the full set is collected.
Spawn Image Comics Founders Series McFarlane Elite Edition Pre-Orders

Pre-orders for the new Spawn figure start December 18th at 9am Pacific Time / 12pm Eastern Time, right here at Entertainment Earth and also on Amazon. Everyone’s wondering about the price, and while it hasn’t been announced yet, similar figures have cost $59.99. The last one, the Doomslayer, sold out fast at that price, and we expect this one will too. However, the price could go up to $69.99, and it would likely still sell out quickly, even if fans aren’t happy about it.
While you’re waiting, don’t miss the new McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures releasing on December 17th! This wave includes Ice, Superman, The Flash, and Rocket Red Brigade. You can find all the details about the new collection right here.
