While it hasn’t been officially announced, fans are wondering if Hawkeye (Clint Barton) will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jeremy Renner recently shared a teaser for the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday, on X, sparking speculation about his character’s potential appearance. It’s been four years since Clint Barton last appeared in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, and many are hopeful to see him back in action when Doomsday arrives in December 2026, though Marvel has not yet confirmed his involvement.

Where is Hawkeye & How Can He Return to the MCU?

The teaser trailer showed that Chris Evans will also return as Steve Rogers. While some original Avengers are still unconfirmed, it’s believed Scarlett Johansson won’t be back as Black Widow. Mark Ruffalo’s recent appearance as the Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day hints at a possible return in Doomsday, and fans are hoping to see Clint Barton (Hawkeye) back in action as well.
