In the upcoming sequel of “Meet the Parents,” stars Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson will be reprising their roles. Additionally, a delightful surprise has been added to the cast: Ariana Grande. As we honor the 25th anniversary of the original film, fans can look forward to this new installment.
At the Tribeca Festival, Ben Stiller expressed that the inspiration behind the new movie comes from the fact that he is now around the same age as Robert De Niro was during the filming of the original. He went on to say, “The story mirrors the first film, with one of my characters contemplating introducing a new family member.” De Niro has reviewed the script and stated, “The script is quite entertaining,” he said. “I’m excited about it.” However, he declined to disclose any specific details. John Hamburg, who wrote the original three films, will be responsible for writing and directing “Meet the Fockers” once again.
The new title for Meet the Parents 4, based on the last name of Stiller’s character, has officially been set as “Focker’s Family Ties.
The film be released on 25th November 2026.
