Megan Fox has been transformed by motherhood.
Megan Fox has said it’s been a little challenging to focus since giving birth to her daughter, Saga Blade, six months ago. Saga’s father is Megan’s ex, Machine Gun Kelly.
Megan recently announced she had a baby during a Q&A event in Los Angeles, explaining she’s been experiencing some ‘brain fog’ as a result, according to a video posted on TikTok.
The woman, 39, shared that she’s been struggling with sleep for the past seven months. She apologized in advance if she repeated herself, and asked people to feel free to gently point her back to the topic if she wandered off course.
Megan, who has three children – 13-year-old Noah, 11-year-old Bodhi, and 9-year-old Journey – with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, easily remembered how she felt while filming the 2009 movie where she played Jennifer Check alongside Amanda Seyfried.
I connected with the script because it touched on feelings I was experiencing at the time. I felt unfairly targeted in my career and was really struggling with the pressures and trauma that came with being famous.
As a huge fan, what really struck me about what they said was how deeply they connected with the character. They explained that before the monster side, she’s just a teenage girl used by others, and that really hit home for them personally – it reminded them of their own experiences starting out in the industry. It’s amazing to see an actor bring such honesty and vulnerability to a role!

Playing the character Jennifer allowed her to express parts of her personality that are normally considered wild or inappropriate for everyday life.
She paused, reflecting, “It was really enjoyable to explore that side of myself – a more intense, powerful femininity that people often suppress.”
This Q&A session was one of Megan’s first public appearances since having her baby, Saga. As Megan’s ex-husband, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), shared, she’s been prioritizing her family since their split in December, before Saga was born.
“Megan is a great mom,” the 35-year-old gushed on Today in June. “She’s killing it. I’m so excited.”

Fortunately, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (born Colson Baker) have found a way to co-parent effectively, despite having one point of disagreement.
He playfully mentioned on The Jennifer Hudson Show in September that people keep commenting on how much his daughter, Saga, resembles either him or her mother. He said that just last month, she looked the spitting image of him, but now she looks just like her mother.
