Megan, now 31, showed off her many talents in 2022 when she hosted and performed as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. As she takes on new challenges and continues to create music, she remains authentic and true to who she is, both personally and professionally.
In a 2020 essay for The New York Times, she explained that she often gets attention for both how she looks and her abilities. She emphasized that she chooses her own outfits, not to please anyone else, but to express confidence in herself and celebrate her body image, which she sees as fundamental to her identity as a woman and an artist.

And she tries to keep that message alive and well for her fans—especially Black women—through her songs like “Thot S–t” and “Hot Girl.”
She told GQ that November she wanted them to be bolder and more assertive. She encouraged them to ask for what they deserved, speak up, and continue to demand it.
