Meghan Markle and Netflix are going their separate ways.
Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, Archetypes, created with Netflix, will now continue on its own, without the streaming service’s involvement.
A spokesperson for As ever told People magazine on March 6th that they are thankful for Netflix’s support during their launch and first year. The brand has grown quickly and is now prepared to operate independently. They are looking forward to an exciting year and plan to share more details soon.
Netflix also confirmed the dissolution of the partnership.
The As ever brand was born from Meghan’s desire to make ordinary moments more special with beautiful, simple touches, and the team is proud to have helped her achieve that, according to a spokesperson.
As planned, Meghan will continue to develop her brand and move forward on her own, and we’re excited to see all the happiness she continues to bring to people globally, as she always has.
In its first year, As Ever—formerly known as American Riviera Orchard—has been selling items such as fruit preserves, teas, and chocolate bars through its online store.
Just one month after its February 2025 launch, Meghan, mother to Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, with Prince Harry, shared that she was still figuring things out as she went along.

Before marrying Harry in 2017, Meghan ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig. She had previously explained how she chose the name for the blog.
In a February 2025 Instagram video, she explained that ‘As Ever’ simply means ‘as it always has been.’ For those who have followed her since 2014 with her blog, The Tig, she said it’s no secret she’s passionate about cooking, crafting, and gardening – it’s just part of who she is.
I’ve been following Meghan for years, even back when she had her amazing lifestyle blog, The Tig. She always shared such personal details with us, and I remember when she explained how she chose the name ‘The Tig’! Sadly, she had to close the blog when she got engaged to Harry in 2017, but I still cherish those memories and her explanation of the name’s meaning.
I often get asked what ‘As Ever’ means to me, and it’s really simple: it’s just staying true to who I am! For those who’ve been following my journey since The Tig back in 2014, you know I’ve always been passionate about things like cooking, creating, and spending time in the garden – it’s just part of my life and what I genuinely love to do.

Meghan also created a lifestyle show for Netflix called With Love, Meghan, which lasted for two seasons and included a special holiday episode. Here’s more about the show…
Meghan Markle shared in season two that she made husband Prince Harry and his friends custom baseball hats bearing “PH40″—his initials and age—in honor of his 40th birthday in September 2024.
Before heading to Malibu with her friend Heather Dorak, Meghan talked about how she’s grown and changed since her twenties.
We initially bonded over a shared interest in health and fitness, running together regularly. Now, we’re both mothers of two children, and our husbands have become close friends too. It’s wonderful to see how our friendship has grown over the years.
The former Suits star went on to share how her thoughts about aging have evolved as well.
She described navigating life as a woman, saying your 20s are for growth, your 30s for self-discovery, and your 40s are truly fulfilling. She believes these experiences are essential for becoming who you’re meant to be, and she’s enjoyed seeing herself and other women become more confident and comfortable with themselves as they age.
Meghan observed that she and her friends now enjoy simpler pleasures like cookies and wine, saying, ‘We’ve moved into a new phase of life.’

Meghan said she hadn’t seen a former Deal or No Deal costar for nearly 20 years, but they reconnected a couple of years ago after she reached out.
When they finally got together in season two, the pair reminisced about old times on set.
“I remember all having to stand in line,” Meghan recalled, “to get our lashes put on in a row.”
The Duchess of Sussex shared that she’s been following Chrissy Teigen’s career, even though they haven’t seen each other recently.
I remember when she left that show, and not long after, she just blew up! I was completely shocked when I saw her on the cover of Sports Illustrated – it was amazing. She was always such a genuinely kind person, even then.

When Meghan mispronounced ‘Hawthorn’ as ‘Honsworth,’ Chrissy playfully suggested it was a hint about the name of her supposed secret third child.
As the Cravings cookbook author noted, “I was like, ‘You have a kid named Honsworth?'”
Meghan playfully responded, “You’ve never heard of my child? And honestly, if I could have kept a secret like that under wraps, that would be amazing.”

Harry made a quick appearance in season two with Meghan and Clare Smyth, the chef who catered their 2018 wedding. Clare had flown to California for the episode, and the three of them took a picture together with the caption, “Surprise Visit!”

Meghan, mother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, lovingly described her youngest son as a remarkably kind, sweet, and adorable child.
“I always wanted to be a mom,” Meghan added. “I love it. It’s better than I even expected.”

Meghan had to face the music after her move from London to California.
She confessed to Tan France that she really misses listening to the U.K. radio station Magic. ‘I’ll be the grandma who always listens to it,’ she joked.
These days, she noted her playlists can range from soul to country music.
She said her favorite radio station in the car is called ‘Mom Jeans.’ It plays older songs that are perfect for singing along to – the kind you’d forgotten about.

Cooking might be one of Meghan’s love languages, but her dishes don’t always turn out egg-celent.
She shared that she made roast chicken the night her husband proposed, and they even served it at their wedding. It’s become a weekly tradition for them. She also fondly remembered that when she first cooked for her future husband, she was still getting used to converting between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
She admitted she’d cooked a really awful chicken that night, but her takeaway was that even if you mess up, people will still appreciate the effort you put in.

During Clare’s episode, she mentioned that Harry playfully teases her for saying “herbs” without the “H,” because she pronounces it the way many Americans do.

The actress explained that she consulted with an Ayurvedic doctor—a traditional Indian medicine practitioner—during her pregnancy. However, she told guest Samin Nosrat she had to eat a lot of dates, repeating, “So many.”

Everyone knows Meghan enjoys making jam, but she shared in the first season of her show that she really started getting into it after she and Harry settled into their home in Montecito, California.
While picking berries, Meghan explained in an episode of her show, With Love, Meghan, that the vines were already growing there when she and Harry moved in, and they actually sparked her interest in making jam and preserves.
As for Meghan’s favorite preserve?
The Duchess of Sussex shared that making apple butter reminds her of her grandmother, making it a cherished tradition. She loves that her children, Archie and Lilibet, now get to experience it too. She imagines they’ll associate the sweet smell of slow-cooked fruit with coming home, thinking, ‘Mom’s making preserves again!’
In fact, Meghan said Lili has even tried her hand at preserve-making.
While offering strawberry preserve in the fifth episode, she explained that she and her daughter, Lili, made it together. Lili helped pick all the berries and insisted on doing as much of the work as possible, wanting to stir and mash the fruit herself. Her mother guided her, keeping the hot parts safe while Lili poured. Seeing Lili’s pride in her work was the best part.

However, it appears Harry, who made a cameo on season one, has some culinary skills too.
Meghan revealed in episode five that her husband, affectionately known as H, is an excellent cook, especially when it comes to breakfast.
The duchess also offered some insight into how the Duke of Sussex likes to season his food.
You know, as someone who’s always in the kitchen, I totally get the quirks of family members! My husband has this habit – before even tasting whatever I’ve made, he automatically reaches for the salt shaker. It’s become so routine that I’ve learned to cook with a lighter hand, basically ‘under-salting’ everything, just to balance it out. It’s a little thing, but it’s definitely a part of our family dynamic!

Meghan describes her fashion sense as ‘high-low,’ meaning she likes to combine designer or high-end items with more affordable pieces.
The actress, known for her role in Suits, described what she wore when she hosted Mindy Kaling for a tea party during the first season of her show. She revealed she paired Zara pants with a Loro Piana top and a Jenni Kayne sweater.

The series not only highlights Meghan’s passion for hosting, cooking, gardening, and decorating, but also reveals some of her other hobbies and interests.
For instance, in one episode, she hosted a game night for her friends.
We’ve all been learning to play mahjong together recently,” she explained. “Mahjong originated in China in the 19th century, and we play the American version. I’ve really come to appreciate how fun the game is, but even more than that, I love that learning it with friends brought us closer together. The game itself almost became a backdrop for strengthening our friendships.”
I was so excited to hear more about what Meghan enjoys in the latest episode! Her friend, Vicky Tsai, who founded Tatcha, mentioned that Meghan’s actually into pickleball, which is awesome. And Meghan herself shared some of the music she loves – it’s so cool to get a peek into her personal life like that!
In episode five, Meghan shared that she enjoys listening to ’70s soft rock, yacht rock, soul music, and music you might hear at a French dinner party.
And when it come to food, she said she has a “very, very high tolerance” for spice.
Growing up, we didn’t have much money, but my mom made sure we traveled whenever possible. She was a travel agent and always encouraged us to experience new cultures and foods. She was a fantastic cook, especially when it came to Soul food – it’s full of flavor and has a wonderful spice to it. I really miss those flavors and always seek out food with that same level of heat. Now, I’m introducing my own family to the kinds of tastes I grew up with, and they’re really enjoying it.

In the second episode of her podcast, Meghan shared that she ate a lot of fast food and TV dinners while growing up.
She recalled in the second episode that things felt very different back then, but that was just everyday life for her – things like microwavable kids’ meals with separate compartments. She grew up with that, watching Jeopardy! and eating a lot of fast food.
Her favorites at the time?
Meghan shared that she used to frequently eat at Pollo Loco and Taco Bell, always adding extra hot sauce to her Mexican pizza. She also mentioned Jack in the Box, explaining that her mom was a big fan of their tacos.

Meghan didn’t just share memories of her early years; she also talked about her experiences as a Girl Scout.
She shared that she was in Girl Scouts for many years, starting as a Daisy when she was five or six. She remembers selling lots of cookies, and her mom was the leader of Troop 949.

Even after stopping their official duties as working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan retained their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
And in With Love, Meghan, she explained why the Sussex name is so meaningful to her.
In episode two, Meghan playfully pointed out to Mindy that she’s now known as Sussex. She explained that having children made her realize how important sharing a family name is. She admitted she didn’t anticipate how much it would mean to her to say, ‘This is our family name, our little family name.’

Speaking of Archie and Lili, Meghan offered a few insights into their world in the series.
The mom of two shared that her children also enjoy gardening, and they even have their own set of tools. She said they’re really dedicated to it! She also mentioned her daughter loves the color pink and has a special song she sings while cleaning up.
Meghan mentioned in the fifth episode that Lili has turned the phrase ‘clean as you go’ into a little song. She playfully repeated it as ‘Clean as you go, clean, clean, clean, clean as you go!’
Meghan shared stories about simple joys with her children, like making sun tea and going fishing – Archie even caught a trout! She also spoke about how much she enjoys cooking with them.
She explained in the fifth episode that creating these experiences and memories was really important to her. She wanted her children to remember things like, ‘Mom used to make this,’ and cherish those moments with her.

Long before she was an actress or a duchess, Meghan had her first job at an ice cream shop.
In episode five of With Love, Meghan, she recalled that her first job, when she was 13 years old, was at Humphrey Yogart.
Later on, Meghan helped make doughnuts.
In episode three, she shared that doughnuts always bring back childhood memories for her. She used to work at a small doughnut shop named Lil Orbits Donuts, where they made incredibly small, mini doughnuts to sell at craft fairs, and she assisted with the work.
And when she was in college, Meghan worked at a bar in Chicago.
In episode seven, a Northwestern University graduate recounted their post-graduation plans: initially thinking they’d move to Chicago and take a simple job like coat check, they were surprised when offered a position as a cocktail waitress instead.
After a customer’s complicated martini order left her flustered, Meghan said her boss told her to return to her previous job at the coat check.
In addition, Meghan shared that before her current life, she had a variety of interesting jobs, including teaching gift-wrapping and bookmaking at Paper Source, and working as a hostess at Mirabelle Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard.

In the fourth episode, Meghan hosts a gathering with Nacho Figueras’ wife, Delfina Blaquier, and shares her thoughts about her experiences living abroad.
The Duchess shared that she fell in love with Argentina because it felt similar to California, with its mountains and vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Even though she was only there for a few months as an intern at the U.S. embassy, she really enjoyed her time there.

Meghan starred as Rachel Zane on the TV show Suits from 2011 to 2018, and she always remembers the moment she learned she’d be moving to Toronto to film the series.
She explained that when the show was picked up, filming would be in Toronto. She wondered what that meant for her life, initially thinking it would be just one season. But then it became two seasons, and she started to consider a longer-term move. Luckily, she loves Canada and made an effort to include both her castmates and people she met locally – even those she connected with at the dog park – in her life.
In fact, her costar Abigail Spencer appears in one of the With Love, Meghan episodes.

In January 2025, Meghan announced her beloved dog, Guy, passed away.
The cute beagle appeared in multiple episodes of the Netflix show, and Meghan had previously shared how much she loved him.
Let me tell you, when you find someone special, you really fall hard, and that’s exactly how I feel about Guy. He just gets me, and honestly, I’d do anything for him. What I love most is his versatility – he can be sweet, playful, a little mischievous… whatever I need him to be! And yes, I definitely spoil him – he deserves it!
And he was always by her side.
She explained that Guy is always by her side, like a constant companion. They’ve been together for a very long time—ever since she lived in Toronto. He was originally found in the woods in Kentucky and has since traveled with her to the U.K., back to Canada, and then to California. She feels he has a rich history and many stories to share.
After the season one finale, Meghan shared that the show was dedicated to the memory of Guy.
