As per a report from The Information dated October 28th, it’s expected that the upcoming search engine will generate summaries of recent news and current events in a conversational AI format, which will then be delivered to users via Meta’s AI-powered chatbot. This information comes from an anonymous source with knowledge of the situation.
As reported by our source, a specialized team within Meta has been diligently developing the project over the past eight months, aiming to construct a comprehensive data repository suitable for their upcoming search engine’s use.
Meta’s AI chatbot, connected to its collection of social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, relies on the search engines Google and Bing to deliver responses to users’ inquiries at present.
