Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Voice Actor Says a Great New Entry is “Absolutely Possible”

Approaching the launch of “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” within the next ten days, it’s worth noting that a fresh installment in this series once seemed unattainable. Although many team members who worked on earlier versions are returning, there are also several individuals who have branched off on their own paths, including the series creator Hideo Kojima.

In a recent interview with PC Gamer magazine, as reported by GamesRadar, series producer Noriaki Okamura acknowledged that due to several original team members moving on to different projects, there are noticeable areas where they struggle to fully compensate for the void left behind.

Despite the development of Metal Gear Solid Delta, we’ve discovered a renewed appreciation for our team’s capabilities, as it has yielded impressive results.

It’s plausible that a fresh take or entirely new installment in the series could occur, according to actor David Hayter. However, he emphasizes that it wouldn’t be identical without Kojima’s contribution as it would be impossible to perfectly replicate his unique genius, peculiar quirks, and specific character.

As a child, I was deeply fond of Tim Burton’s version of Batman, thinking to myself, “This is exactly what Batman should be.” Then along came Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman, and it left me feeling, “Wow, that’s quite impressive too.” So will the new one be just like the original? No, but could it still be incredible? Absolutely.

Indeed, Konami hasn’t shared any news about a new game in the series yet, leaving us all in anticipation. However, the re-release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, scheduled for August 28th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, might just be the fix we need until further updates come. For those eagerly awaiting more details, it’s been confirmed that there will be a showcase during Xbox’s Gamescom broadcast on August 21st, and for those lucky enough to attend, they can even play the game!
