According to recent reports, Konami confirmed that over a million copies of the remade version of the acclaimed stealth action game, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, were sold just one day after its release on August 28, 2025.
According to a statement from the publisher in their Japanese press release, that total includes both physical copies shipped for the game and digital purchases made online.
Initially, we recognized its success in physical stores within Japan. However, it appears to be thriving in various locations worldwide, although we can’t yet specify the exact details of the performance breakdown.
Still, a million copies in a day is nothing to be sniffed at.
