It’s hard to believe, but the one-year anniversary of Metaphor: ReFantazio is almost here! It doesn’t feel like that long ago, and the game is still vivid in our memories.
To mark the anniversary, Atlus and their development team, Studio Zero, are holding a live stream this week on October 10th at 9pm Pacific Time. That’s October 11th at midnight Eastern Time, 5am in the UK, and 6am in most of mainland Europe. It’ll be an early morning for viewers in Europe!
No details have been shared on what we can expect, but the company is teasing a “special message”.
Based on how similar events have gone in the past, we expect the focus to be on panels featuring the game’s creators, who will likely share details about how the game was made and its progress since it first came out.
It’s highly likely that the game Metaphor will eventually be released on the Nintendo Switch 2. It would be surprising if it didn’t happen, so an announcement feels pretty certain.
Still, there’s always a chance PlayStation players will get something out of this – maybe an update, downloadable content, or even a completely new version of the game. It *is* Atlus, known for surprises!
What are you hoping to learn about Metaphor: ReFantazio? What do you predict this livestream will cover? Share your thoughts and expectations in the comments!
