As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Studio Zero’s Metaphor: ReFantazio has truly taken me by storm. The game’s success story is nothing short of phenomenal, breaking records left and right and garnering critical acclaim across the board.
Since its release on October 11th, Studio Zero’s game “Metaphor: ReFantazio” has received two updates post-launch. These updates make distinct modifications to both the console and PC editions of this highly-praised RPG. Update 1.04 targets Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 consoles, improving the Camera Shake Off feature and resolving an issue that prevented New Game+ from saving correctly.

This one’s beefed up, bringing the same great features to our PC friends while also introducing anti-aliasing for smoother visuals. The audio department has had a makeover too, with a tweak in the volume balance that makes the Master Volume louder. All systems are getting a dose of minor fixes as well. ReFantazio has garnered a great deal of praise since its debut, earning it the title of the second best-rated game of the year according to Metacritic. On its debut day, it broke all Atlus sales records by selling over one million copies and even peaked at 85,000 simultaneous players on Steam. Moreover, in its first week, it dominated Japanese sales charts with more than 108,000 units sold.
