With Season 4 of Invincible boosting the franchise’s popularity, excitement for Invincible Vs. is building rapidly. Some fans are comparing the level of mainstream attention to that of Mortal Kombat. The game itself features fast-paced action, with two teams of three characters facing off using impressive combos, team-up moves, and powerful special attacks. It plays similarly to games like Dragon Ball FighterZ or Marvel vs. Capcom, but Invincible Vs. also brings its own unique elements, which fans have been enjoying since the beta was released.

Today marks 18 years since How I Met Your Mother aired “The Chain of Screaming,” the episode where Bob Odenkirk guest-starred as Arthur Hobbs, Marshall’s boss. Megumi Ogata, the voice actor for Yuta Okkotsu, revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Yuta’s battle with Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori was initially intended to be contained within one episode. However, the production team considered extending it to two, but worried that doing so would slow the fight down and make it feel unlike the fast-paced action typically seen in Jujutsu Kaisen. They feared it would result in drawn-out scenes of characters simply posing or staring at each other.
