Fans might finally get a first look at Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 at Summer Game Fest after it was absent from the recent State of Play presentation. Reliable industry insider NateTheHate predicts the game will be revealed at the June 5th showcase, and confirmed he’s heard information suggesting it will be featured.
Right now, that’s all the information we have, but it’s a good start. Director Naoki Hamaguchi has promised to share more details about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Project than they have before. He also mentioned that players will love the unique abilities of characters like Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind, and he’s excited for everyone to try them out.
The final game in the remake series was confirmed playable back in February, and director Hamaguchi had completed over 40 test runs by May. After mentioning that an announcement was being prepared and wouldn’t be much longer, many expect a reveal at Summer Game Fest.
We might finally discover the official name of the game, as it’s been decided internally for a while now. Unlike the first two games, Remake and Rebirth, this third installment will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. Keep an eye out for more details during Summer Game Fest.
