The action game Mexican Ninja, a 2.5D roguelike beat ’em up, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2026, in addition to its already planned release on PC via Steam. This was announced by publisher Amber and developer Madbricks.
According to Madbricks creative director Dario Hoyo, the game Mexican Ninja is all about that satisfying feeling of skillful gameplay – perfectly timed dodges, combos, and blocks. He shared this in a recent press release.
Releasing the game on consoles as well as PC in 2026 will allow more players to join the vibrant world of Nuevo Tokyo and feel its unique rhythm. No matter how you play – with a keyboard or a controller – it’s all about finding your flow, playing with confidence, and fighting with passion.
Here is an overview of the game, via Amber:
About
Okay, so I just got my hands on this game called Mexican Ninja, and it’s absolutely wild! It’s a super fast-paced, chaotic beat ’em up with a roguelike twist. You’re basically fighting your way through the streets of Nuevo Tokyo, which is this crazy mix of Mexican and Japanese cyberpunk vibes. And the whole city is run by these seriously corrupt guys called the Narkuzas. It’s got a ton of attitude, and it doesn’t hold back – I’m hooked!
Fast-paced attacks, quick dodges, powerful special abilities, and unique fighting techniques inspired by Mexican culture make each playthrough a thrilling and energetic experience.
The game, previously available on PC, will be released on consoles in 2026, letting more players experience its fast-paced action, unique character development, and playful style.
