Michael Sheen has been officially unveiled as Richard Osman’s replacement on House of Games.
Osman revealed in March that he’s stepping down as host of the well-known BBC quiz show after nine years.

Sheen acknowledged it will be challenging to take over the role, but expressed his excitement as a longtime fan of the show. He joked that he’s looking forward to becoming part of the show’s iconic imagery, even imagining his face on a fondue set.

Tamara Gilder from Remarkable Entertainment said they’re excited to have Michael Sheen host the show House of Games. She explained that the show is made for quiz lovers, and they found a new host who shares their passion for quizzes. They’re looking forward to beginning production.
Caroline O’Neill from the BBC said they’re thrilled Michael Sheen is joining House of Games. She believes his energy and fun-loving personality will be great for viewers, and he’s sure to enjoy the competitive challenges. The BBC is excited to launch this new season of the show.
