Michelle Obama is remembering Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner

The day after Rob Reiner, director of When Harry Met Sally, and his wife were found dead at their California home on December 14th, the former First Lady revealed that she and Barack Obama had planned to visit them that same day.

I’ve known Rob and Michele Reiner for years, and we were actually supposed to meet up with them last night. I have to say, they are truly some of the kindest, most courageous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing – unlike what some others might say. I was sharing this on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently, and it’s just so important to me that people understand what wonderful people they are.

The 61-year-old emphasized how Rob, 78, and Michele, 68, lived their lives to the fullest.

They weren’t just talk; they actively supported their values, prioritizing family, country, and a fair and just society. She emphasized that this is simply what she knows to be true about them.

Rob and Michele Reiner, ages 34, 32, and 28, were found dead in their home on December 14th, in what appears to be a homicide. Later that evening, their son, Nick Reiner, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently being held in jail without bail, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
