Microsoft has begun releasing a new update for its Copilot app on Windows 11. This update includes key improvements like Connectors and the ability to create documents.
These updates are currently being released to Windows Insiders (specifically those with version 1.25095.161.0 or newer) in stages. This means it might take a little while before they’re available to everyone.
The latest update adds Connectors to the Copilot app for Windows. This lets you link your personal accounts – like OneDrive, Outlook (email, contacts, and calendar), Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar – to Copilot. This makes it simple to find information and content from all your accounts using everyday language.
Plus, the new feature works with more than just Microsoft accounts—you can also connect accounts from other services to Copilot. To do this, go to the Settings menu within the app and find the “Connectors” section. From there, you can choose which services you want Copilot on Windows to access.
The latest Copilot app update lets you easily create content and save it in formats like Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and PowerPoint presentations – all you need to do is give it a simple instruction.
Simply by typing what you want, you can quickly create documents from your ideas, notes, or data – no additional software or steps are needed. Plus, if your response is 600 characters or longer, Copilot provides a button to easily export your text to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or as a PDF.
Microsoft
Microsoft recently updated Word, and now new documents automatically save to OneDrive if the autosave feature is turned on. This change, affecting millions of users, has raised concerns about privacy and where files are stored.
Next year, Microsoft plans to release a redesigned OneDrive app for Windows 11. The new app will offer a smoother and more user-friendly experience for viewing and editing photos.
