In approximately two weeks, Microsoft plans to take out one of the top games from Xbox Game Pass without specifying the exact date yet, but it will likely occur around mid-month. The game to be removed is an RPG that is quite lengthy, giving subscribers very little time to complete it beforehand. To be precise, the main storyline of this game requires approximately 65 hours to finish. However, if you include side content and additional features, the total experience could extend to between 85 and 100 hours.
The game on Xbox Game Pass that was recently taken off was actually added to Microsoft’s subscription service last year. With an impressive Metacritic score of 89, it was one of the top-rated and best games of 2024. This game is a remake of Persona 3, originally released in 2006 for the PS2, named Persona 3 Reload, from Atlus.
Although Xbox Game Pass subscribers likely won’t finish the RPG before it gets removed, they can still take advantage of a 20% discount on the game as long as it remains in the Xbox Game Pass library. This offer is valid right up until the game is no longer available.
Experience the life of a new student suddenly caught in unforeseen events during a mysterious timeframe known as the ‘Dark Hour.’ Uncover hidden powers, solve mysteries, protect your friends, and make an indelible impact on their lives.
It’s possible that Persona 3 Reload might reappear on Xbox Game Pass, potentially around the time when Persona 6 launches. But, there’s no certainty about this, and even if it does happen, it could be quite some time before then. So, if you don’t have more than 60 hours to spare over the next fortnight, your best bet may be to keep hoping for its return soon.
