miHoYo revealed *Petit Planet*, a new life simulation game set in space, planned for PC and mobile devices, with more platforms on the way. They’re currently looking for players to join a “Coziness Test” on PC and iOS through their website. The test will be available in both English and Japanese.
Here is an overview of the game, via miHoYo:
Okay, so I just heard about this game called *Petit Planet*, and it sounds amazing! It’s basically a life sim set in space, where you can build a life for yourself, meet cool alien neighbors, and explore a really surprising universe. The developers are really pushing this idea of creating your own dream life amongst the stars, and it seems like it’s all about building, discovering new things, and connecting with other players. Honestly, it sounds like a really chill but adventurous experience. The best part? Beta sign-ups are open now, so I’m definitely checking that out!
In *Petit Planet*, you get to grow your own planet and connect it with others to build a whole galaxy! It all starts on your planet, where cute creatures called Neighbors help you link up with other worlds. As your connections grow and planets thrive, a special energy called Luca will transform each planet into a unique and lively landscape.
In the relaxing life simulation game *Petit Planet*, you can enjoy simple, everyday activities like farming, fishing, collecting shells, mining, cooking, and making things. You’ll also experience heartwarming moments as you grow unique crops, explore different environments, and get to know charming neighbors. *Petit Planet* lets you express your creativity by customizing your character’s style, decorating your home, and designing outdoor spaces. With the help of Luca, you can even change the landscape – the sky, fields, and beaches – to create a world that’s uniquely yours.

As you connect with visiting Neighbors on your planet, the galaxy feels more vibrant. Each Neighbor has their own unique personality, story, and dreams to share. You can invite them to stay, and friendships blossom through meaningful chats, gifts, and special moments that make every connection one-of-a-kind. The more your planet thrives, the stronger these friendships become. *Petit Planet* is designed to help you build these relationships as part of everyday life, turning simple interactions into something truly magical.
I’m really loving how *Petit Planet* isn’t just about building on your own little world! You can actually hop in your vehicle with your Neighbors and go on these amazing Starsea Voyages! It’s like exploring a whole galaxy of Islets, finding cool creatures and recipes, and making friends with people from all over. And the Galactic Bazaar? It’s the best! It’s always buzzing with activity – you can chat over coffee, enjoy fun events, and really connect with other players. It’s amazing how a quick hello can turn into a real friendship!
HoYoverse, known for games like Genshin Impact, is entering the life simulation genre with *Petit Planet*. This new game has a charming, cartoon-like art style and will initially launch on PC and mobile devices, with plans to expand to other platforms later. Players can now sign up for a chance to participate in a closed beta test through the official website (planet.hoyoverse.com). Those selected after completing a questionnaire will gain access to test the game.
