Mikayla Matthews Slams Chase McWhorter Over Jessi Draper Kiss Drama

Mikayla Matthews is not keeping her feelings aboutChase McWhorter a secret.

After reports surfaced that Miranda Hope’s ex-husband kissed Jessi Draper, a fellow cast member on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Mikayla strongly reiterated her negative opinion of the drama.

The 26-year-old commented on a TikTok video about the alleged kiss and its aftermath, explaining, “There’s a reason I strongly dislike that man. He hasn’t changed at all!”

Mikayla publicly called out Chase’s sister, Aysia McWhorter, who had been mentioned in the video, saying, “Aysia, where are you? You’re the last hope for your family!” Aysia responded with a TikTok of her own, jokingly telling Chase she was “living your dream.”

Chase, age 30, is well-known to the MomTok community due to his past relationships, especially after his 2024 divorce from Miranda following a seven-year marriage. He was briefly rumored to be dating Layla Taylor, who later dated his brother, Mason McWhorter, for almost a year. He had also previously admitted to having feelings for Taylor Frankie Paul.

News broke on March 26th that Jessi, age 33, was seen kissing Chase, who shares two children with Miranda, at a recent party. This came just a day after a new episode of Jessi’s podcast, Call Her Daddy, aired, where she mentioned Chase was supporting her through her divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.

Mikayla has spoken out about the rumored kiss between Chase and Jessi before. The social media personality—who has four children (Beckham, 8, Haven, 6, Tommie, 4, and Lottie, 8 months) with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jace Terry—also reacted to a video posted by Miranda on March 26th. In the video, Miranda joked about the situation and how their friend group had become a place where everyone was waiting for Chase to make a move.

Honestly, things have been crazy in the MomTok world lately, and Mikayla really summed it up perfectly – she just posted that it’s been ‘a week straight from hell,’ and I totally get it! It feels like one thing after another.

Whitney Leavitt wasn’t the only cast member from SLOMW to react. She was shocked by the rumored kiss between Jessi and Chase, and simply wrote “I have no words” on Miranda’s post. Layla showed her support, commenting, “That’s my girl.”

Mayci Neeley simply reacted with two wide-eyed emojis. Jennifer Affleck, however, hinted at the recent cancellation of Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette by playfully suggesting, “Miranda as the Bachelorette!!”

After the news came out, Miranda shared that Jessi tried to make things right by sending an apology and flowers. But a source at TopMob News said Miranda is still hurt, explaining, “She’s disappointed that a friend she was close to would betray her trust.”

Chase declined to comment when reached by TopMob News, and a representative for Jessi has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen began dating while appearing on the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and had a son, Ever, together in 2024. However, their relationship ended because Dakota was unfaithful.

Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that things were going wonderfully with Dakota after their daughter Ever was born, and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she soon discovered he had been dishonest with her the whole time.

Taylor was accused by a woman named Jenna of having a relationship with Dakota, claiming they had been intimate on multiple occasions. Taylor has publicly denied these accusations, stating in a TikTok post from September 2024 that he was faithful.

On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.

Okay, so let me tell you what I’m hearing. Apparently, things escalated quickly. She shared that he admitted to kissing this other person on the couch, but it didn’t stop there. He actually went on the couch with her, and things became intimate. Then, they took it to the bedroom. It’s a really tough situation, and she’s understandably upset about the level of betrayal.

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, the mother of three (including two children with her former husband, Tate Paul) was ready to look for love again on season 22 of The Bachelorette. However, things became complicated when reports surfaced in March 2026 of a possible argument between her and her ex-husband a few weeks prior.

A representative from the Draper City Police Department told People magazine they are investigating a reported domestic assault. According to the police, both people involved have accused each other of wrongdoing.

Oh my god, can you believe it? Some old video popped up online – from way back in 2023 – showing Taylor and Dakota actually fighting! It was a full-on physical altercation, and honestly, it was shocking. But the fallout? Even bigger! ABC immediately cancelled Taylor’s season of the dating show. I knew something was off, but I never imagined it would end like this! It’s just…wow. I’m obsessed with keeping up with everything, and this is a total bombshell!

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and the two found a strong connection – both personally and as dance partners. They share three children – Sedona, Liam, and Billy – and have worked through challenges while living their lives in the public eye.

For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.

She jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Like, do I need to put out a sex tape?” On the Off the Vine podcast in October 2024, she clarified, “Trust me, we’re good. Everything’s fine.”

She explained that he had struggled with a pornography addiction during a difficult personal time—something I hadn’t witnessed. She mentioned a scene where a friend observed his sexual confusion, suggesting it was evident to others.

Despite facing challenges, the reality star shared that she and her husband, Connor, are more solid as a couple than ever before. They even reaffirmed their commitment by renewing their vows in February 2026, celebrating their 10th anniversary.

Conner shared with Brides that he and his partner married young. He explained that their wedding felt as much about celebrating their families as it did about their own commitment. They wanted to create a day that truly reflected them as a couple, and they felt this was a fun way to do it.

Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck, who are not related to Ben Affleck despite what people say, have been married since 2019, but rumors about them splitting up have circulated since the beginning of their time in the public eye.

A major storyline in the first season of their show revolved around a fight that happened after Jen went to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas. Despite the argument, the couple – who are parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas – reconciled, and the Dancing With the Stars contestant later spoke out to support their relationship.

Jen explained to TopMob News in November 2025 that constantly hearing the same rumors was exhausting. She said she’s learned to accept that people will always talk and have opinions. What bothers her most, though, is when people don’t recognize the hard work and effort he’s putting in privately.

I’ve been following her journey closely, and it’s so clear she and Zac are prioritizing their well-being. She recently shared that they’re really trying to block out all the external distractions and focus on each other – though she admitted it’s still a challenge for Zac to do that.

Trouble surfaced in Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura’s five-year marriage when the hairstylist confessed to an emotional connection with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa. Despite early signs of improvement, the confession revealed underlying issues.

Jessi, who shares two children, Jagger and Jovi, with Jordan, told TopMob News in November 2025 that they had reconciled and were working on their relationship. She explained that relationships aren’t always easy, and rebuilding theirs would take time and effort, not an instant fix.

Unfortunately, the couple’s attempt to reconcile didn’t last. Jordan, who also has a daughter named Peyton from a previous relationship, filed for divorce in March 2026, ending their five-year marriage.

A few days later, Jessi expressed surprise and said she felt caught off guard by his filing. She claimed he hurried to submit the documents simply to be the first to get media attention.

She said she was heartbroken to learn the news, explaining that she and her husband had planned to tell their children together before officially separating, but hadn’t had the chance. TopMob contacted Jordan’s lawyers for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

Mayci never thought she’d find love again, especially after her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015. She was 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson, at the time and had already accepted the idea of raising him on her own. She certainly didn’t anticipate finding love with Jacob Neeley.

But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.

In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was hesitant to trust anyone after difficult experiences, but she and Jacob connected quickly. They stayed friends for a while, which made her comfortable with him meeting her son, since they weren’t officially dating at the time.

She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. After four months, despite being afraid of getting hurt again, she couldn’t ignore her feelings any longer. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.

Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the previous year. Their relationship, featured on a reality show, gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, which led to discussions about their intimate life becoming a central part of the show’s storyline.

Jessi revealed in a November 2025 Instagram post that her grandfather, Bret, has a surprising and unsettling habit: he drinks her urine, comparing the act to drinking dirty soda and consuming it quickly like water. This explained the strange gift he’d given her.

Demi and Bret aren’t upset about their past secrets – or a certain accident! Demi told Entertainment Tonight in December that they’ve decided to just accept what happened and enjoy life.

Despite some public discussion about their relationship, the couple is happily adjusting to life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter, Maude, from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In a June 2024 Instagram post, Demi shared how much she admires her husband’s dedication to his children. She described him as an incredibly loving and devoted father and step-father to Maude, and expressed excitement about their future as parents together. She was especially impressed by his unwavering commitment to his role as a father, even when facing life’s challenges.

Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry have a long history together. They first met in 2015, when Mikayla was 15, and had their son Beckham two years later. They married in 2018 and have since welcomed three more children: Haven, Tommie, and Lottie.

Mikayla and Jace are enjoying raising their four children, but Mikayla has expressed a desire to have even more kids in the future.

In an interview with People magazine in February 2025, she shared that she’s always pictured having three or four children, though she wouldn’t rule out having six. She’s also looking forward to moving to a new house with plenty of outdoor space for her future family.

In the ninth episode of the show’s fourth season, Mikayla revealed that she and Jace were separating temporarily because they were having difficulties with their physical relationship.

Mikayla’s marriage suffered as she started to process the trauma from past sexual abuse and manage her chronic illness, which worsened during times of stress.

Talking about sex or intimacy is really difficult for me,” she told Jace. “It puts me on edge because I’m already feeling overwhelmed and stressed – like I have nothing left to give.”

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Layla Taylor and Clayton Wessel – you know, Oliver and Maxwell’s parents – they actually divorced in 2023. It was so sad! But then, like a dream come true, Layla started hinting at a new guy, Mason McWhorter, in July 2025! I’ve been following everything, and it’s just… everything!

Their relationship looked tricky when you mapped out the family connections. Here’s the deal: Mason’s brother, Chase McWhorter, was previously married to Layla’s colleague, Miranda McWhorter. Despite this, Mason and Layla were determined to make their relationship work.

Layla shared with Us in November 2025 that she’s currently hesitant about marriage, but values deeply getting to know someone first. She expressed contentment with her relationship with Mason, adding that they would consider marriage if the situation ever arose.

Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.

Layla explained that she and her partner were simply heading in different directions. He felt he needed to be independent to grow, and she understood and respected that. She wishes him all the best in pursuing his goals.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in its second season and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok personalities. However, despite the controversy with Taylor, Miranda has stated that this wasn’t the cause of her divorce from Chase in 2024.

Okay, so she finally talked about it on the Weekly Trash podcast last August, and honestly, it was… complicated. She basically said that whatever happened, happened way before anyone even started speculating. And get this – she specifically said that the thing everyone thought caused it? It didn’t! Like, it might have made things worse, maybe, but it absolutely wasn’t the reason they split. I’ve replayed that part of the podcast like a million times, just to be sure I understood correctly! It’s such a relief to finally know the truth, even if it’s a little vague.

Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.

Coparenting requires ongoing effort,” she said thoughtfully. “If we’d always had a perfect relationship, we likely wouldn’t have separated in the first place.

“The thing with him and I,” she continued, “we’ve always had a pretty good foundation of a friendship prior to even having a romantic relationship. I feel like that’s something that set us up for some level of success when it comes to co-parenting.”
