Miley Cyrus Has a Sharp Edge With Massive Brooch on Grammys Red Carpet

Miley Cyrus‘ fashion mantra at the 2026 Grammys? Go big or go home.

Miley Cyrus turned heads at the February 1st event, arriving at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with her fiancé, Maxx Morando, and her mom, Tish Cyrus. She wore a leather jacket and black pants, completing the look with a large, statement gold brooch.

The accessory stood out, and seemed personalized with pendants featuring the initials “M” and “C” – representing the 33-year-old’s name. (You can see photos of all the stars on the 2026 Grammys red carpet here.)

Miley, who recently got engaged to Maxx after four years together, is nominated for an award at the event hosted by Trevor Noah. Her album, Something Beautiful, is up for Best Pop Vocal Album, alongside albums by Justin Bieber (Swag), Sabrina Carpenter (Man’s Best Friend), Lady Gaga (Mayhem), and Teddy Swims (I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2)).

Even if she doesn’t win this year, Miley Cyrus has already won three Grammy Awards. She earned her first two in 2024 for her song “Flowers,” which was named both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. She also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance last year alongside Beyoncé for their collaboration, “II Most Wanted.”

Even with Miley’s recent success at the Grammys, she’s talked about how the Recording Academy often didn’t recognize her work earlier in her career.

She expressed surprise in a June 2024 interview with W magazine, saying, “After 20 years in the industry, this is the first time I’ve felt truly recognized by the Grammys.”

Miley questioned how people could ignore her accomplishments, despite her clear success in other areas.

She explained she struggled to understand what metric they were discussing, questioning where she was supposed to contribute when the conversation focused on statistics and data. She also wondered where she fit into the discussion when the focus shifted to cultural impact.

“This is not about arrogance,” Miley noted. “I am proud of myself.”
