Millie Bobby Brown Pulls Out of GMA Appearance After Arm Injury

Millie Bobby Brown’s health has turned a bit upside down. 

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, had to appear on Good Morning America remotely on December 15th after an injury left her with an arm in a sling. While her co-star, Noah Schnapp, expressed disappointment that she couldn’t be there in person for their interview, Millie assured everyone she was doing fine.

Millie explained in a pre-recorded video that she couldn’t be with them because she’d fallen and hurt her arm, briefly showing the camera her arm in a sling.

But the Enola Holmes actress, 21, still had a sense of humor about the ordeal despite her injury. 

She playfully explained she still wanted to be involved somehow, adding with a laugh, “I always find a way to make things about myself, you know me!”

Millie revealed in August that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, adopted a baby girl. She then turned the tables and asked her close friend, Noah, a question as if she were interviewing him.

Before ending the video, she asked him about his favorite holiday tradition or memory, then said, “Okay, I love you. Good morning. Bye!”

Noah, 21, shared that his family enjoys playing charades during the holidays, but first he expressed how much he misses Millie, saying, “I really wish she could be here with us.”

It’s well known that Millie and Noah are very close, and Millie recently shared that their friendship has become like family. While talking about how her Stranger Things co-stars – including Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, and Gavin Matarazzo – have been supporting her as a new mom, she also revealed that Noah is her daughter’s godfather.

Millie shared with Entertainment Tonight at the season 5 premiere on November 6th that Sadie has a very nurturing side. She also expressed her trust in Noah, who is Sadie’s godfather, and the rest of their group. Millie explained that everyone becomes incredibly sweet and gentle when they interact with Sadie, especially when using baby talk.

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her acting.

She didn’t reveal her diagnosis until 2025, when she shared on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.

She explained that growing up, she was taught to expect periods to be painful, and to accept that pain as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves people dealing with a common issue in silence and isolation.

 

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.

Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) saying, ‘You haven’t tweeted in a while!’ Suki jokingly replied, ‘Have you thought maybe those super tight pants I wore six months ago gave me a hernia, and I’ve been afraid to mention it?’

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery because his appendix was close to rupturing.

Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain which led him to the emergency room. He explained he had a perforated appendix – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against the Seattle Reign on September 14th, a Racing Louisville midfielder collapsed after only a few minutes of play at Lumen Field in Seattle.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, before suddenly collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.

After receiving initial treatment from medical staff at the game, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests. League officials reported she was in stable condition and fully conscious.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 still cause him problems today.

“It’s been awful,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I experience spasms all over my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—I was told I could die within the last year.”

He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying, “My body has a few quirks and isn’t quite perfect.”

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital in severe back pain, saying he had to crawl because it was so bad. The pain flared up during a road trip with a friend while traveling in an RV.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Gina Kirschenheiter from The Real Housewives of Orange County revealed that her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack in March 2025, but he is recovering well.

The comedian later posted on social media to explain that he hadn’t been feeling well due to food poisoning, but he was starting to feel better.

Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped her, evaluated her injuries, and got her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet came dangerously close to her right eye – less than an inch away.

According to the former Kim Possible star, a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll be keeping a close watch on her condition, though her vision is currently normal.

The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving. She shared how much she loves her daughters, husband, family, and friends, and emphasized the importance of cherishing loved ones. ‘I saw my life flash before my eyes,’ she said, ‘so please, hug the people you care about whenever you can, because life can change in a moment.’

Although her speech and facial movement eventually returned, Hailey went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).

Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now feeling well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, making it difficult to move parts of his face – he couldn’t blink, smile, or even move his nostril on one side. He also shared that it had become increasingly hard for him to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and feeling much better, adding that while the situation was frightening and unexpected, he was going to be okay and she was grateful he was fine.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he suffered from a severe headache one day while in Atlanta. Before he could take an aspirin, he lost consciousness and doesn’t remember the next twenty days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, they discovered he had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.

After surgery, twenty days later, on May 4th, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star shared that she temporarily stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC competition show.

She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, everything went dark, but she then experienced light, leading her to realize she had died that day.

A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain – resulting from a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery, which she described as incredibly painful, but afterward experienced a period of confusion and difficulty speaking.

Though she recovered and was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure was initially unsuccessful, leading to another dangerous bleed and forcing doctors to perform a more invasive surgery directly through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia Clarke is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how thankful she is for her family’s support after a health scare. In January 2024, Cori suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, sending a text and picture to let them know what happened. She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.

Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. While she could have gone home after the stroke, she was also dealing with complications from lupus and kidney problems.

Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and has been working to regain some motor skills, but overall is doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her 20s.
