As someone who’s seen a lot of families grow, I can tell you there’s something truly special about becoming parents. Recently, my husband, Jake Bongiovi, and I welcomed a little girl into our lives, and honestly, she’s changed us for the better. It’s only been a couple of months, but it’s been the most incredible journey!
Oh my gosh, Millie just shared the most precious things in her interview with British Vogue! She said it’s been the most beautiful, amazing journey, and honestly, I’m tearing up just thinking about it. She says their little one has already taught them so much about perspective and how the small things are the most precious. Can you imagine? Just endless cuddles, laughter, and love! It’s everything! And even with Millie finishing up Stranger Things and starting a new Netflix movie, and Jake being super busy too, they’re totally committed to being 50-50 partners in raising their baby. It’s just… perfect. I’m so happy for them! It’s like everything I’ve ever dreamed of for them is coming true!
She continued, expressing her gratitude for her life with her husband, before handing him flowers. “He’s truly an incredible father,” she said, noting that his father is Jon Bon Jovi.
The couple has made a firm decision about parenting: they want to protect their daughter’s privacy and keep her name and identity private, away from public attention.
Millie emphasized the importance of safeguarding her daughter and her personal experiences until the child is ready to share them herself. She believes it’s her and her partner’s responsibility to shield their daughter from unwanted attention, but they would fully support her if she ever chose to share her story publicly, just as Millie did when she was younger.
As they create a loving and secure environment for their daughter, she’s already enjoying precious moments with family, especially her grandfather, Jon.
Jon described falling in love instantly with his granddaughter. Speaking on Today in October, he explained that when he first met Jake and Millie’s daughter, he immediately felt a strong connection and knew she was his granddaughter.
