Spoilers for Superman
Following the successful launch of James Gunn’s Superman, there’s been a lot of anticipation about what’s coming next in the DC Universe. While we eagerly await updates on David Corenswet’s Kal-El, it’s Superman’s cousin who will be in the spotlight for the upcoming DCU film. Craig Gillespie’s Supergirl, featuring Milly Alcock as the lead character, is set to premiere in June 2026. Towards the end of Superman, viewers got a sneak peek at Kara Zor-El from the DCU. To prevent any further leaks, Gunn has officially released a glimpse of Supergirl.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I excitedly hopped onto my preferred social media platform (previously known as Twitter) to find a fresh promotional snapshot for the upcoming Supergirl film, shared by DC Studios’ co-head. In a clever play on words reminiscent of Superman’s famous catchphrase, “Look up,” this first glimpse at Supergirl advises viewers to instead “Watch out” for her cousin. Here’s a sneak peek at the captivating image below:
