According to Variety, the popular animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is getting a stage adaptation next year. While details about the plot are still limited, Miraculous Corp has confirmed it will be a brand new story for the series. Martin Lord Ferguson and Ella Louise Allaire, who previously worked on shows like Scooby-Doo! and The Lost City of Gold and Ice Age! A Mammoth Adventure, are bringing the production to life. At a recent event, Roz Nowicki, who leads consumer products for Miraculous Corp, shared details about the upcoming live-action show. She explained that Miraculous is about believing in yourself and finding the hero within, and that the new stage show will bring that message to life in a fresh and exciting way. By working with Monlove, they aim to stay true to the show’s core values while creating a fantastic live experience for fans of all ages, worldwide.

Ella Louise Allaire, who adapted the stage play, also shared her enthusiasm for the production. She was particularly inspired by the character of Marinette, describing her as a smart, active, and imaginative teenager who embodies a real superhero. Allaire believes that heroes like Ladybug and Cat Noir are important role models for today’s families and children, and the production aims to pay tribute to these characters and the world created by Jeremy Zag, Thomas Astruc, and Nathanaël Bronn.

Allaire explained that the show isn’t like most children’s programs. It’s a high-quality, exciting experience for the whole family, combining impressive stage effects with cutting-edge technology to create moments you can’t replicate on TV or online. It’s designed with the energy of a pop concert, the fast pace of an action movie, and the heart of a classic fairytale, emphasizing the power of bravery.
