Miranda Kerr Details How Her Blended Family Celebrates the Holidays

Miranda Kerr’s kitchen is the heart of her home.

Model Miranda Kerr, who has four children – Hart, 7, Myles, 6, Pierre, 19 months, with her husband Evan Spiegel, and Flynn, 14, with her ex-husband Orlando Bloom – recently talked about how her family enjoys celebrating the holidays.

Oh my gosh, she said it! She actually said it! She told TopMob News at the Baby2Baby gala that she and him love cooking together! It’s just… everything! She explained it’s how she grew up, always with her family in the kitchen during the holidays. It’s not just about the food, you guys, it’s about that time together – she said it’s so important! I KNEW they were perfect for each other! It’s the little things, right? Like, spending holidays cooking… it just melts my heart!

Miranda also teased that their house over the holidays includes “singing, a little bit of dancing.”

As for what she and her kids love to cook, they have a longstanding tradition.

I always make a roast dinner,” she said. “I cook it all in coconut oil to keep it healthy – things like roast chicken, beef, and vegetables. And I always use my grandmother’s special gravy recipe, which has been handed down through my family for generations.

Miranda enjoys relaxing at home, but she always welcomes a night out with Evan, and she was happy to attend the Baby2Baby gala.

“We have four kids, we don’t get out that much,” she admitted. “So it’s nice to actually have this moment together for such a good cause.”

After all, the organization’s mission is close to her heart.

She explained that many children lack basic necessities, and the organization Baby2Baby steps in to help, providing for over a million children annually.

Miranda is a very supportive person, and that extends to her personal life as well. When her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom, and his fiancée, Katy Perry – who have a 5-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove – ended their engagement in June, Miranda was there for both of them.

Miranda recently revealed she saw both Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom together. During a September 3rd interview on the Kyle and Jackie-O Show, she explained she spent time with them over the weekend and they even took a photo. She said Katy and she were chatting with Orlando when someone suggested a picture. Miranda jokingly noted that Katy later sent her the photo, which showed Orlando with his two ex-wives – Miranda and Katy – standing beside him.

As she put it, “We all had such a big smile on our faces. You know we’re one big happy family.”

They are definitely not getting back together. However, with all the recent interactions – birthday celebrations, affectionate hugs, and even playfully acting out a romantic scene during the virtual reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High – it feels like they’re just teasing everyone who hoped they’d reconcile.

Sarah proved she’s incredibly confident—and maybe a little playful—when she appeared on her ex-husband Jimmy’s talk show. She was there to promote her new series, I Love You, America, and couldn’t resist teasing him about his wife, Molly Kimmel, describing her as “cute,” “bright,” and “funny.” Joking about the difference between their relationships, Sarah quipped, “It’s not fair! She got the updated, more aware Jimmy. I only had the Jimmy from The Man Show.”

Honestly, it seems like some people are still more affected by this relationship than those who were actually in it. When Anna—who is now married to Michael Barrett—found out Chris Pratt was marrying Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, she volunteered to perform the ceremony. She even sent a gift when their daughter, Lyla, was born in August 2020. A source told TopMob News that Anna was “very supportive” and happy for her son, Jack, to have a little sister.

Their breakup could have easily led to disaster, but four years later, these HGTV stars are thriving. They’re successfully co-parenting their children, Taylor and Brayden, and continuing to renovate dilapidated houses into beautiful homes for others.

Lenny Kravitz and his ex-wife, actress Zoë Kravitz’s mother, described their relationship as a close friendship – what he called “best friends” in a 2013 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Despite divorcing and her later marriage to Jason Momoa (before their 2020 separation), they still feel like family. Lenny said they’ve created a “one big happy family” dynamic, proving that positive relationships are possible even after divorce.

Since ending their relationship in 2020, the co-host of Dancing With the Stars and her former hockey player partner have consistently shown they remain friendly.

When Brooks announced he was getting married to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir in December 2024, Julianne publicly shared her excitement. She posted on Instagram, wishing the couple a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and adventures as they begin this new chapter together.

The dancer, her ex-husband, and his pregnant fiancée spent a day together at the lake. She shared a photo of the four of them, calling them ‘three cuties’ and describing it as a ‘special day’.

Nina and Ian broke up in 2013 after dating for three years, but they stayed friends. The following year, Nina began dating Nikki Reed and they quickly got married. As a result, Nina became friends with Nikki, who is known for her role in the Twilight films.

As a lifestyle expert, I remember when news broke that a couple after five years together decided to go their separate ways back in July 2016. What I found fascinating, though, was how they spoke about it afterward. The singer shared on Howard Stern’s show a few months later that despite the breakup, she and her ex remained incredibly close. She beautifully described him as someone who was not just a former partner, but a longtime lover and a dear friend – a testament to how you can maintain meaningful connections even after romance fades.

“We love each other,” she said. “That’s it.”

Okay, seriously, Pam and Jim? Still get me right in the feels! Even Mindy Kaling totally understands why we’re all still hoping they’ll end up together, years after the show ended. She actually said that if she were just a viewer, she’d ship them too! But what’s even more amazing is that she’s so close to B.J. Novak – that’s Jim, obviously! – that he’s basically family now, way more than just a friend. It’s just… everything about their connection feels so real, even now. I’m not the only one who thinks so, clearly!

After their divorce was finalized in 2011, the former couple easily continued to raise their son, Bronx. The Fall Out Boy singer has praised his ex-wife, calling her a fantastic mother.

It sounds like she’s moved on from their past relationship. The musician has stated that he and his ex are still on good terms and remain friendly. He described their connection as a positive one.

Jennifer and her Dexter co-star first connected on the set of the show in 2006, and their relationship became romantic two years later. Despite divorcing in 2011, Jennifer later confirmed they remained friendly and held each other in high regard.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are famously friendly exes, and their daughters – Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout – have helped them maintain that closeness. So, it wasn’t surprising when they decided to quarantine together in Idaho during the pandemic. Sounds like they even had some fun, maybe with a dance party!

Oh my gosh, even years after their divorce, JLo still talked about Marc Anthony like he was amazing! I remember seeing her on Sunday Today in 2018, and she was saying how Marc really helped her believe in herself when they were married. He told her she was a fantastic singer and to never let anyone tell her otherwise! She has so much respect for him, and honestly, she thinks he’s one of the greatest singers ever – and I totally agree! It’s just so sweet that she still appreciates everything he did for her, especially about her confidence. He’s the father of her precious Max and Emme, too, so it makes sense she’d still feel that way!

Despite facing personal challenges, the actress remains supportive of her ex-husband and former Scream colleague. Eight years after their 2010 divorce, she described it as a relatively amicable split while appearing on Running Wild With Bear Grylls. She added that they successfully co-parent their daughter, Coco.

Although their relationship ended in 2007, they still had great chemistry on screen when they starred in the 2011 film Bad Teacher.

Although the actors had a difficult time immediately after their 2013 separation, they’ve now reached a point where they can vacation together as a group. In an interview with LaPalme Magazine, he shared that he enjoys a good relationship with his ex-wife’s husband, and highlighted a 2017 trip to Cancun where they all traveled with their daughters – Luca, Lola, and Fiona – along with Dave Abrams and Peter’s fiancée, Lily Anne Harrison. He explained that relationships evolve, stating, “People come into your life for a reason, and just because you aren’t together doesn’t mean you can’t still care for each other.”

Even though they unexpectedly separated in September 2012, the couple worked hard to appear supportive of each other for their children’s sake. In a 2014 interview with Howard Stern, she explained that she and Will remained close friends and were successfully co-parenting. She didn’t view their ten-year marriage as a failure, believing that all relationships face challenges.

The Grammy-winning singer and her ex-husband, who officially divorced in January 2024, have stayed friendly and are successfully co-parenting their son, Hayes. They even live only five minutes away from each other, making it much easier to share parenting responsibilities.
