Miss Piggy Says Sabrina Carpenter Was “Very Intimidated” By Her

Sabrina Carpenter knows Miss Piggy has good taste.

I was so excited to see Kermit the Frog interview Anderson .Paak for the new Muppet Show on Disney+ and ABC, starting February 4th! It got me wondering, though – did Kermit even notice how cool Anderson .Paak is? I mean, Kermit’s seen it all, but a Grammy winner… I wondered if it fazed him at all while they were filming!

Miss Piggy responded to a question about whether she felt intimidated by saying, “Actually, you should be asking Sabrina if she was intimidated by me!” in an interview with Will Marfuggi of TopMob News.

I’ve been a fan of this actor for years, and in a recent interview, he shared something really interesting. He actually advised against asking the other actress a certain question, saying we should just trust him on it. He explained she’d been quite intimidated, and I totally get why he didn’t want to put her on the spot.

Although Miss Piggy is accustomed to being the center of attention, her friend Kermit the Frog took a moment to compliment the singer of “Please Please Please.”

Okay, so Kermit was trying to explain what Miss Piggy really meant, and honestly, it was all about how incredible Sabrina is! He said sharing the stage with her was amazing, and trust me, he’s SO right. Sabrina is a phenomenal singer and actress, and I totally get why everyone – Kermit, Piggy, me – is obsessed with her!

With a side-eye, Miss Piggy responded, “Sure, sure, sure, yeah. That’s what I meant.”

As for how Sabrina really feels about the diva?

On The Muppet Show, a 26-year-old tells Miss Piggy, “I’m sure you hear this a lot, but I wanted to let you know – you’re my idol! I’ve really built my entire style around yours.”

With her usual playful attitude, Miss Piggy acknowledged the praise, saying, “Don’t worry, my lawyers and I are already on it and will get back to you.”

Sabrina isn’t the only new face joining the Muppets for their show’s comeback – it’s been 50 years since Jim Henson first created the series! Maya Rudolph, known from Saturday Night Live, and Seth Rogen from The Studio are also part of the fun, with Rogen also helping produce the special.

Kermit told TopMob News that this comedian is a huge figure in the comedy scene and a big fan of the Muppets. He was incredibly supportive and eager to contribute to the special, and was just a pleasure to work with.

Miss Piggy was likely too focused on herself to realize how much effort Seth contributed to the show. She famously responded to the news of his role by simply asking, “He was an executive producer?”

You can start watching The Muppet Show on Disney+ and ABC on February 4th at 9 p.m. Here’s a look at other new shows coming to TV soon.

Captain Jason Chambers is once again leading the superyacht Katina, with returning crew members Ben Robinson as Chef, Daisy Kelliher as Chief Stew, and João Franco as Second Officer, all heading their respective departments. Alesia Harris is also back as Sous Chef.

Oh my gosh, the crew is getting even BETTER! We have Joe Caron and Jenna Woudberg joining as stews, and I’m SO excited for them! Plus, Mike Durrant is doing both deck and stew duties – how versatile is that?! And new deckhands Eddy Hounsell and Betul Yazici are joining the team too! Seriously, this season’s crew is shaping up to be amazing!

The fourth season of the hit show, based on the popular books by Michael Connelly, follows the sixth novel in The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence. This season, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) is up against his biggest challenge yet: proving he didn’t commit murder. Inspired by the 1989 film of the same name, The ‘Burbs is a modern story about a couple who move back to the husband’s hometown. Their peaceful life is disrupted when a mysterious new neighbor arrives, unearthing long-held secrets and dangerous threats that reveal their seemingly quiet neighborhood isn’t what it appears to be.

Jack is back, but he’s in serious danger! The clever thief, known as The Artful Dodger, is facing execution and is being pursued by Inspector Boxer, the new police officer in Port Victory. Even seeing the woman he loves, Lady Belle, could lead to his hanging.

Lady Belle is passionately pursuing a career in medicine, even though it’s unexpected and risky. She’s motivated by her strong ambition and a blossoming romance that could be threatened along the way.

Oh my goodness, you guys, it’s getting intense! Boxer is totally going head-to-head with Jack for Belle’s attention, and it’s amazing! But things are getting seriously risky because Fagin, that sly fox, has pulled Dodger into their biggest, most dangerous scheme ever. And to top it all off, there’s a murderer running around! I’m telling you, this season is going to be HUGE – new faces, incredible places, and SO much more excitement, laughs, genuine emotion, clever twists, and sneaky plots than anything we’ve seen before. I’m already on the edge of my seat!

Sydney hinted at one more surprising element of the show, playfully telling TopMob News in October 2025, “Dildos.”

I’m completely hooked on the second season! It follows Andrew Cooper, played brilliantly by Jon Hamm, as he continues living this double life – a regular suburban dad, and a surprisingly skilled thief. But things get really tense when a new neighbor moves in and starts getting a little too close for comfort, putting everything – and his family – in danger. I’m on the edge of my seat!

Margo’s Got Money Troubles is a funny, touching, and realistic story about a young woman named Margo (Elle Fanning) who’s trying to figure out life after college. She’s now a new mom facing financial difficulties, with her parents – a former waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and a retired wrestler (Nick Offerman) – offering support as she struggles to pay the bills.

Season One introduces us to Elle Woods (Lexi Minetree) during her high school years, revealing the experiences that made her the memorable character from the original Legally Blonde movie.

Reese Witherspoon shared that it’s been a long-held dream to tell the full story of Elle Woods, 25 years after audiences first met her. She expressed how rewarding it was to find Lexi Minetree to play Elle and bring the character to life.

As a huge fan, I’m so excited about this series! I really think the core messages – being kind, staying true to yourself, and having faith in who you are – will connect with both longtime fans of the movies and people discovering it for the first time. I’m counting down the days until Season One is released, and I’m thrilled they’re already planning Season Two! It feels like a really special project.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always drawn to stories about the high stakes we all face, and “Rivals” delivers that in spades. It’s a captivating look at how our personal and professional lives intertwine, and how quickly things can unravel when secrets come to light. Trust me, this show is full of bold moments and raw emotion – it’s a real rollercoaster ride set against some truly stunning scenery. It explores what we’re willing to sacrifice to achieve our goals, and it really makes you think about the true cost of success. It’s a must-watch if you love a thrilling drama!
