While Finn Jones, who played the character, has expressed interest in returning, there’s been no official confirmation. Despite this, rumors continue to circulate, fueled by some mysterious posts Jones has been sharing on Instagram.
Could Danny Rand Be Coming To The MCU?
Finn Jones recently shared a photo that fans think might hint at a return to his role as Iron Fist. While it could simply be a nostalgic post, many believe it suggests he’s interested in reprising Danny Rand in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially given photos he shared with Jessica Henwick captioned “Reunion.” In a 2024 interview, Jones expressed his desire to further explore the character and revisit his on-screen chemistry with Mike Colter, even suggesting a potential “Heroes For Hire” TV series would be a great way to do so.
At the anime convention La Conve Monterrey in Mexico, voice actor Jones addressed the possibility of reprising a role, acknowledging fan concerns and past criticism. He stated he understands why some fans don’t want him to return, but asked for another opportunity to prove himself, saying he’s eager to show people he can deliver a great performance. He expressed his desire to revisit the role and silence his critics.
