Viewers nationwide have enjoyed two seasons of The Traitors this year: the original series in January and a celebrity version that’s been on TV throughout October and November.
Now that the popular celebrity competition is over, many viewers are missing Claudia Winkleman and the show itself. While BBC One hasn’t announced when the fourth series of The Traitors will air, there are still other great shows to watch in the meantime.
No matter if you enjoy the excitement of competition, the drama of discussions, or the thrill of uncovering hidden roles, there are plenty of shows available that deliver all of those experiences.
Wondering what to watch next? Here are 15 shows to check out after you finish The Celebrity Traitors.
1. The Inheritance

Where can I watch it? Channel 4
Studio Lambert’s newest show, “The Inheritance,” features Elizabeth Hurley as a woman who gathers thirteen strangers at her mansion after her death. She’s the one who orchestrated this unusual gathering.
The group is gathered to compete for an inheritance outlined in the deceased woman’s will. To win, they’ll have to cooperate and fulfill her final wishes – but there’s a surprising catch.
I’m a huge fan of ‘The Inheritance Games’ and I love how Rob Rinder plays the role of the deceased’s lawyer. He’s in charge of this crazy challenge where one of the contestants gets to claim a big inheritance, but they have to convince everyone else why they’re the most deserving. It’s such a clever twist!
What really excites me about this is that it feels like a genuine social experiment. It’s really making me think about tough questions – things like what fairness truly means, how people behave when they think no one’s watching, and how money can change what we feel and what we believe is right. And it’s doing all of this on a scale we’ve never seen before, which is just incredible.
2. The Fortune Hotel

Where can I watch it? ITVX
You can’t trust anyone at The Fortune Hotel…
The popular show, Fortune Hotel, was back on ITV this summer for another season. Eleven couples traveled to the Caribbean for a vacation, but it quickly became clear things wouldn’t be all relaxation and sunshine – plenty of drama was in store.
In this game, teams of two compete for a £250,000 prize hidden inside one of their briefcases. Only one team has the money, and they have to secretly protect their briefcase from being stolen by the other teams.
Every night, a briefcase exchange happens, and the couple left with the case holding the Early Checkout Card is immediately eliminated from the game.
As a total film buff, I’m thrilled there’s so much more to come – bigger challenges, unexpected plot twists, and plenty of drama, of course! But what really changes things with a second season is that all the competitors know what they’re walking into – they’ve seen the show, which adds a whole new layer to the game.
The first season of the show was a complete surprise – nobody knew what it would be like. Now that people have seen it, they’re coming prepared. So, our strategy is to constantly surprise them and keep them guessing, preventing them from getting comfortable or predicting what will happen next.
3. Destination X

Where can I watch it? BBC iPlayer
Destination X is a new reality show that combines elements of The Traitors and Race Across the World. Contestants journey across Europe in a competition that feels like a real-life board game, but with unexpected twists and challenges.
The show starts with the contestants riding on a darkened bus to a secret location somewhere in Europe. They have no idea where they’re going, and neither does the audience. Once the bus stops, the players are left to figure out their surroundings with the help of provided clues.
After each show, the contestants go to the Map Room where they try to pinpoint their location on a map of Europe. The player with the most accurate guess gets to stay, while the one with the least accurate guess is eliminated.
During the game, players receive varying amounts of information, and it’s up to each individual to decide how—and if—they share what they know with the rest of the team, including whether or not to be truthful.
4. Tempting Fortune

Where can I watch it? Channel 4
Tempting Fortune is a new reality show on Channel 4. Twelve strangers will journey together, competing for a £300,000 prize.
Throughout the competition, the contestants will be tempted to use the prize money for personal wants, potentially causing conflict and frustration among the group.
Honestly, the second season was a whole new challenge for everyone involved. But after the first season really took off – people were obsessed with discussing the characters and imagining themselves in their shoes, especially online – this next group of contestants really brought their A-game. It was like everything was amplified – the drama, the strategy, everything! It just took things to a completely new level.
5. The Traitors US

Where can I watch it? BBC iPlayer
You can find all versions of the hit show The Traitors – from the US, New Zealand, and Australia – on BBC iPlayer, offering plenty of thrilling entertainment.
Whether it’s special celebrity editions or the regular show, there’s lots more The Traitors to enjoy until the next season.
6. The Circle

Where can I watch it? Netflix
The Circle is a reality show that’s also a social experiment. Contestants only interact with each other through a special social media app – they don’t meet in person until someone is eliminated.
When setting up accounts, players can choose to be themselves or create a fake identity to form partnerships and gain power over others.
During the game, players will rate one another. Those with the highest ratings will become influencers and have the power to eliminate other players.
7. The Trust: A Game of Greed

Where can I watch it? Netflix
Netflix’s The Trust: A Game of Greed will have viewers gasping at every turn.
This show follows a diverse group of people who are offered a chance to win $250,000 – if they can share it equally. However, there’s a twist.
Each episode, players secretly vote each other out, and every vote increases the remaining players’ share of the prize money. The catch? Just one vote eliminates you. Though, voting isn’t mandatory. Throughout the game, players compete in challenges and each round can access The Vault, which offers rewards that benefit either themselves or the entire group. It’s a game where greed can really pay off!
8. The Mole

Where can I watch it? Netflix
The Mole is a new Netflix game show where twelve players work together to build a cash prize, but one of them is secretly trying to undermine their efforts. The players have to figure out who the saboteur is while competing for the money.
As a huge fan of ‘The Mole,’ what I love most is that if you can correctly figure out who the Mole is by the end of the season, you win the entire prize pot! It’s such a satisfying feeling when all the clues come together.
9. Rise and Fall

Where can I watch it? Channel 4
This Channel 4 show, presented by Greg James, explores how much people will do to gain and keep control. Sixteen contestants are divided into two groups: those in power (the Rulers) and those trying to gain it (the Grafters).
The Grafters will compete in tough challenges to increase the prize money, while the Rulers will control the game and decide the fate of the Grafters – and ultimately take home the winnings.
During the show, contestants called Grafters get opportunities to advance and potentially join the leaders, while the leaders – known as Rulers – decide who should be eliminated from the competition.
10. Surviving Paradise

Where can I watch it? Netflix
Netflix loves a high-stakes competition series doesn’t it?
In the reality show Surviving Paradise, twelve contestants initially think they’ll be enjoying a lavish stay in a villa, but are surprised to find themselves starting their journey in a rugged wilderness camp.
The main idea of the game is that players can shift their strategy and go back to the resort for a chance to win a large cash prize.
But no one is safe, as at any moment, a player can move from luxury back to the basics.
11. Squid Game: The Challenge

Where can I watch it? Netflix
Squid Game: The Challenge is a reality TV show inspired by the popular drama series. In the show, 456 players compete for a grand prize of $4.56 million.
Players compete in various challenges – some familiar from the show, others brand new – and are eliminated until only one remains to win the cash prize.
12. The Snake
Where can I watch it? Fox
Hosted by Jim Jefferies, ‘The Snake’ is a reality competition where contestants test their skills in manipulation, persuasion, and deception through a series of challenges.
Each challenge winner gets a snake medallion and is named the ‘Snake’. As the Snake, they can protect one player from being eliminated. This process repeats until only two players remain.
13. The Hustler
Where can I watch it? ABC
The Hustler is a game show where five players team up to win money by correctly answering trivia questions.
One of the players is secretly a ‘Hustler’ – someone who already knows all the answers. The other players have to figure out who the Hustler is if they want to win the money.
14. Whodunnit?
Where can I watch it? ABC
Whodunnit? is a 2013 game show where players try to figure out who committed a fake murder, with the twist that the killer is one of the contestants.
Okay, so basically, in this show, one person gets secretly designated as the ‘killer’ each week. They then decide who goes home based on how well everyone did in the challenges. It’s a competition where you’re trying to outplay everyone else, and the last one standing wins the prize money – pretty cool, right?
15. Million Dollar Secret

Where can I watch it? Netflix
The Netflix show Million Dollar Secret, which came out earlier this year, features twelve people competing in a high-stakes game where they must avoid being ‘hunted’.
I’m one of the players who doesn’t have much, so my goal is to take out the millionaire and try to win the money for myself. But you quickly learn not to trust anyone – alliances can change on a dime, and you never know who’s going to turn on you.
