Title shift: “A World under Emperor Doom’s Reign” reaches its critical juncture. In the 2024’s “Blood Hunt”, Doctor Doom claimed the title of Sorcerer Supreme, employing sorcery to eradicate vampires. Yet, he retained his position and gradually utilized his powers to manipulate global governments into granting him authority. Emperor Doom appeared benevolent at first, offering free healthcare, college education, and aiding the less fortunate while combating supervillains. However, underneath this facade of kindness lay evil intentions, which became evident in “One World Under Doom” #6 when it was exposed that Doom had been siphoning life energy from Latverians to fuel his spells. Following public outcry over this revelation, “One World Under Doom” #7 commences with heroes mobilizing against Doom. However, Mister Fantastic surprises everyone by wielding an unexpected asset – magical power.
In this scenario, the clash between Mister Fantastic and Doctor Doom escalates to unprecedented levels, delving into uncharted territories. Mister Fantastic, renowned as one of Marvel’s brilliant scientists and a character known for his intelligence in comics, has always been skeptical about magic. To him, it wasn’t science but more like a sham science. In the sixth issue of “One World Under Doom,” Mister Fantastic attempted to discredit Doctor Doom in public opinion, but his efforts fell short. As a last resort, he unveiled his secret project that involved using magic against Doctor Doom. By treating magic as if it were science, Mister Fantastic discovered a power he never possessed before.
Mister Fantastic Worked With Magic Users but Didn’t Respect It

Mister Fantastic, originally a brilliant scientist known as Reed Richards, has always been driven by a passion for understanding the universe. As an adult, this curiosity led him to create the Marvel, a tool enabling interstellar travel. Unlike magic, which he found unreliable and hard to quantify, Mister Fantastic relied on scientific methods, preferring experiments with consistent results and measurable data.
However, in his early days, Mister Fantastic did encounter a machine that combined magic and technology – Doctor Doom’s device designed to free his mother from Hell. Although he found errors in Doom’s calculations, which ultimately led to the machine’s destruction, this experience marked one of his first encounters with magic as science.
Upon becoming a superhero, Mister Fantastic began interacting with individuals who heavily utilized magic, including Doctor Strange and Agatha Harkness, who served as Franklin’s nanny during his youth. Despite recognizing the efficacy of magic, Mister Fantastic remained skeptical, preferring to rely on scientific solutions over magical ones.
Even during the Incursions, Mister Fantastic leaned more towards science, with Doctor Strange often taking a secondary role among the group’s more scientifically-minded members. This paraphrase aims to maintain the original meaning and flow while making it easier for readers to understand.
Mr. Fantastic, known for his scientific prowess, initially viewed magic as something beyond science. However, after observing its effectiveness in various situations, he started exploring and studying it secretly. In issue #7 of “One World Under Doom”, Mr. Fantastic reveals that he has been attempting to decipher the workings of magic, even tapping into its arcane energies. This development is significant for Mr. Fantastic, given his previous skepticism towards magic due to its unpredictable nature. Despite witnessing its potential, he found it hard to trust magic because it didn’t align with his scientific perspective. To him, magic was a wild force capable of causing as much harm as good. However, after seeing the damage caused by magic in the hands of villains like Doom, who consistently outmaneuvered heroes using magical abilities, Mr. Fantastic decided to harness magic against them and adopted the title Scientist Supreme.
Mister Fantastic Is Able to Bring Science to Magic

Mr. Fantastic now has some enchanted abilities that temporarily rescue the team, yet he’s confronting challenges. Although he discovered a method to wield magic like a scientist, his knowledge and power supply are no match for Doom’s. In fact, Doom was astounded to see Mr. Fantastic manipulating magic, but Doom regained the upper hand. Nevertheless, this fresh tool in Mr. Fantastic’s inventory gave Doom cause for concern, which proved beneficial for the heroes.
In the story “One World Under Doom,” it was Doom who emerged victorious over Mr. Fantastic. As he lay defeated, Mr. Fantastic pleaded for mercy from Doom. However, instead of killing him outright, Doom threatened that he would spare his life, but no further promises were made. The twists and turns in this story have been quite a rollercoaster ride, with one of the most unexpected moments being Mr. Fantastic tapping into magical powers which will lead to an exciting climax in the near future.
