When Cozy Grove first came out in 2021, it quickly became a favorite among fans of relaxing games. Its charming 2D graphics and calming, story-focused gameplay made it similar to popular titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. Players were excited when a sequel, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, was announced. However, it was initially released only as a mobile game for Netflix subscribers, which meant many people couldn’t play. Now, the developer, Spry Fox, has announced that’s about to change, making the game more widely available.
I was originally able to play the first Cozy Grove on pretty much anything – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, even Switch, which was awesome. But Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit was a bit different; it only came out on phones and tablets if you had a Netflix subscription. Now, the developers at Spry Fox are independent again, and they just announced that Camp Spirit is finally coming to other platforms! That’s great news for those of us who don’t want to play on our phones or aren’t Netflix subscribers.
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit Is Finally Coming to PC And Consoles
While some enjoyed playing the game for free with their Netflix subscription, many fans were disappointed that the sequel to Cozy Grove wasn’t released on computers or consoles. Although mobile gaming is increasingly popular, a lot of players still prefer playing on PC or consoles. Plus, those without Netflix can’t play Netflix Games titles like Camp Spirit. Now, Spry Fox is preparing to release the Cozy Grove sequel to a wider audience.
This news comes from a new blog post by Edery, where they explain why Spry Fox recently stopped working with Netflix. The post mainly discusses the upcoming launch of their relaxing online game, Spirit Crossing, but also covers the studio’s plans for the future and its other titles. This includes releasing Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit on additional platforms.
According to Edery, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit didn’t receive the attention it deserved when it was first released on Netflix. Now, Spry Fox is planning a relaunch, working with partners to bring the game to PC and consoles. While specific release dates and console details are still to come, Edery says Spry Fox will share more information as soon as possible.

I’m really excited about Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit! Even though it hasn’t been out everywhere, it’s already been downloaded over 100,000 times on Google Play and has a fantastic 4.6-star rating. Most fans, like me, think it’s a great sequel to the original Cozy Grove. The biggest issues people are having seem to be with the touchscreen controls on mobile and a little bit of optimization, but honestly, that’s not surprising. I think it’s going to be huge when it comes to other platforms! The team is busy working on Spirit Crossing right now, so we’re not sure when Camp Spirit will hit consoles and PC, but it’s still awesome news for those of us who loved the first game and are eager to play the sequel.
Hey everyone! Have you been playing Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit yet? I’m loving it, but I know some of you might be waiting for it to come out on other platforms. Let’s chat about it – come share your thoughts in the ComicBook Forum! I’d love to hear what you think!
