Monster season 4 confirms daughter of Hollywood legends cast as the iconic Lizzie Borden

Even before the third season of Ryan Murphy’s Monster anthology series has aired, there is significant casting news about the show’s forthcoming fourth season, centered around the Lizzie Borden case.

In a new twist, actress Ella Beatty, famously known as the child of Annette Bening and Warren Beatty, is set to take on the lead character, Borden. Meanwhile, Rebecca Hall and Vicky Krieps will grace the production with their notable talents in supporting roles.

According to Deadline’s initial report, Netflix has verified the casting details, indicating that Hall will portray Borden’s stepmother, while Krieps has been cast as a housemaid in the upcoming production.

In 1892, Lizzie Borden stood trial for the brutal axe murders of her father and stepmother; however, she was found not guilty. Further details about season 4 are yet to be disclosed.

Since no one else was held accountable for the murders, Lizzie Borden faced social isolation within her local community in Fall River, Massachusetts.

As a cinephile, I recently immersed myself in a captivating tale that was brought to life on the big screen in 2018, under the title “Lizzie.” In this film adaptation, Chloë Sevigny breathed life into the character of Lizzie Borden, while Kristen Stewart brilliantly portrayed Bridget Sullivan, the Bordens’ trusted live-in maid.

In the first season of “Monster”, the narrative revolved around the storyline involving Jeffrey Dahmer, whereas the second season delved into the tale of the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik.

This upcoming season, slated for release this year, features Charlie Hunnam portraying the role of Ed Gein, a notorious American murderer and potential serial killer.

In a conversation with Collider, Murphy expressed that following the production of Menendez, he and Ian had become intrigued by the question: “From where did our society’s fascination with serial killers originate? At what point and in what manner did it all begin?

According to our findings, the individual who initially gained such high-profile celebrity status was Ed, who instantly became a sensation following his arrest. Prior to this event, nothing similar had ever been witnessed.

The chilling tale of the Menendez brothers, “Monsters”, can now be streamed on Netflix. To access this captivating series, sign up for Netflix at just £5.99 per month. Additionally, you can enjoy Netflix on Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.
