Digital Sun has informed players that the early access release of Moonlight 2: The Endless Vault’s has been pushed back. Originally planned for October 23rd, the dungeon crawling and shopkeeping game will now be available on November 19th.
The delay happened because we have a very full release schedule this month – it’s simply become too busy. As the saying goes, “even the most precious gem can be overlooked in an overstuffed showcase,” meaning great things can get lost when there’s too much going on. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The good news is that we’ll be holding closed playtests on both Steam and the Microsoft Store. We’ll share more information shortly, but these tests will let players try out improvements we’ve made based on feedback from the demo. This delay could also mean the game will be more refined and polished when early access launches, which could be a positive outcome. Hopefully this extra time will make the final product even better.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. The game will initially launch in early access, and the developers plan to keep it in this state for as long as needed. It’s available to play immediately for those with a Game Pass subscription, though you should be aware that the price of the service has recently increased before signing up.
