According to a recent trailer, Digital Sun’s “Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault” is set to debut in early access for PC on October 23rd. You can find it on both Steam and the Windows Store, as well as on PC Game Pass.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Moonlighter 2 is set to stay in early access for as long as the game requires, ensuring it delivers an exceptional experience. The upcoming title will offer three distinct biomes, four diverse weapon types, over a hundred relics to gather and profit from, and a substantial chunk of the storyline. Not to mention, nearly a hundred perks to tailor your dungeon runs!
And for those who enjoyed the original’s merchant-by-day, explorer-by-night gameplay, you’ll be delighted to know that you can once again customize and run Will’s shop in Moonlighter 2.
Without a doubt, the follow-up has received a variety of opinions after the demonstration. Digital Sun has verified that “the store, the inventory system, and several other essential mechanisms” have been altered due to feedback, and they’ll continue to “develop further” throughout the early access phase.
In simpler terms, the complete launch of this game will introduce additional landscapes, adversaries, bosses, characters, missions, and narrative elements, as well as enhancements to gameplay experience. Although the developer has not yet confirmed a price rise after leaving early access, the cost could potentially change based on the amount of new content and features added. Keep an eye out for further announcements in the upcoming months.
