Digital Sun is letting players try out Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault in a closed playtest after postponing the early access launch to next month. Interested players can apply for access on Steam.
Following feedback from the recent demo, the playtest features several improvements, as explained by marketing manager Israel Mallén Broch. Players can now directly set prices for items and will see familiar faces among their customers. We’ve also reduced the frequency of disruptive random events. Instead of showing prices, items called Relics now have a quality rating that players can adjust during a playthrough by managing their inventory.
The dungeons have been redesigned with a map similar to *Slay the Spire*, showing some paths and rewards upfront so you can plan your route. We’ve also made general improvements to balance and how the game feels to play. Be aware that some text in the user interface might occasionally appear blurry, but we’re working on fixing that.
The early access version of *Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault* will launch on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store on November 19th.
