After a long development process, we’re excited to announce that Morbid Metal is almost here! The PC early access version will be released on April 8, 2026.
The new trailer is packed with intense action, showcasing a combat system that looks both cool and genuinely engaging. We’ve been eagerly anticipating this game since speaking with the developer in 2022, and we can’t wait to start playing it!
As a fan, I’m really excited to hear we’ll get to play as all three characters right away! It sounds like we’ll be facing off against a set number of bosses and enemies, but there’s plenty of replayability with different modifiers and upgrades to find. The game will have three distinct areas to explore, and honestly, judging from the trailer, that feels like a ton of content to keep us busy until they reveal their full plans on April 17, 2026. I can’t wait!
Learning to play each of the three characters in Morbid Metal and figuring out good character builds will take some time. Right now, the game is only available on PC, but the developers might release it on consoles in the future.
