Dojo System and Disaster Games have announced that Morkull Ascend to the Gods, the sequel to Morkull Ragast’s Rage, will be released on April 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam).

About
In Morkull Ascend to the Gods, you’ll play as Morkull, the God of Death, in a fast-paced 2D action game centered around challenging boss fights.
The game takes place in the world of Morkull Ragast’s Rage. You play as Morkull, who realizes he’s trapped inside a video game. Your goal is to help him break free so he can unleash his evil plans and take over the world – and that includes controlling you!
Okay, so I’m basically the God of Death and Darkness – talk about a power trip, but also a huge responsibility! I’m getting thrown into a series of epic battles against all sorts of enemies – everything from regular bad guys to seriously powerful gods who rule this kingdom called Midaldus. It’s going to be a tough fight, but I’m ready to take on whoever stands in my way.
Don’t worry, you won’t have to face challenges alone. You’ll have Morkull by your side – and he’ll adapt to your playstyle. Before each battle, you can unlock and equip a variety of his skills, combos, and special abilities, customizing him to fit how you like to fight.
Although you’ll also die a good handful of times.

He’s naturally charming and funny, and loves to playfully interact with the audience. Expect a consistently upbeat and lighthearted vibe, filled with silly jokes, pop culture references, and plenty of memes – you’ll definitely appreciate the humor!

Similar to the first film, Morkull Ascend to the Gods is entirely created through hand-drawn animation, carefully crafted frame by frame. This traditional approach gives the characters incredibly realistic and lively movements.
Featuring a unique art style and vibrant colors, this update expands beyond the Ragast area to let you explore other regions within the Kingdom of Midaldus.
