Mormon Wives’ Mayci Neeley Shares Her Baby Was Hospitalized

Mayci Neeley is detailing a scary family experience.

A star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives recently shared on social media that her 8-month-old daughter, Charli – who she shares with husband Jacob Neeley – was hospitalized with a fever of 102 degrees.

Mayci shared on Instagram that she began to worry about Charli during a work meeting on March 12th. She posted a photo of Charli and her husband from the hospital and explained that their nanny was holding Charli when Mayci noticed she felt feverish to the touch.

When the reality star noticed her high fever, she decided to take her child—along with her other children, Hudson, 10, and Harlow, 4, whom she shares with Jacob—to a clinic, where doctors delivered concerning news.

Mayci explained that the doctors checked her nose and listened to her breathing, noting it was wheezy and she needed a breathing treatment. They also found that both of her ears were infected.

The doctors at the clinic recommended Mayci take her baby to the emergency room to have their breathing evaluated and receive treatment if needed.

Thankfully, my daughter continued to get better, and the doctors said we could go home, though she still needs oxygen when she rests. We’re back home now, and she smiled for the first time in days, which is a really good sign she’s starting to feel like herself again.

Even though going to the hospital was frightening, Mayci was very thankful they admitted her daughter, saying it was the correct and necessary thing to do.

I didn’t fully understand how much she was suffering until she was hospitalized, so I’m incredibly thankful we brought her in. Whether it was luck or fate, I believe things happen for a reason.

Nikki Bella, known from Total Bellas, shared that a breast implant moved after being hit in the chest by Piper Niven during a wrestling match in July 2025.

She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, saying they would get the issue resolved eventually. She explained to the doctor that as soon as she finished her current commitments – essentially, after her ‘boots were hung up’ – she’d return to address the problem and ensure everything looked its best. She wanted to be sure things were presentable because she anticipated future activity and didn’t want them to appear neglected.

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus – in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her performance in the film.

She didn’t reveal her diagnosis until 2025, sharing on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.

She explained that growing up, many girls are told periods are naturally painful, and that this pain is just something women have to deal with. This often leaves people feeling like they’re going through a difficult experience by themselves, even though it’s incredibly common.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happens when there’s a gap in the abdominal or groin muscles, and in her case, it was caused by wearing very tight pants.

Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) asking why she hadn’t tweeted recently. Suki jokingly replied, explaining she’d been hiding a serious injury – a hernia caused by wearing overly tight pants six months ago – out of embarrassment.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery because his appendix was close to rupturing.

Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain, which led him to the emergency room. Doctors discovered his appendix had a hole in it – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against the Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder for Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, before suddenly collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.

After receiving initial medical attention on the field, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests, the National Women’s Soccer League reported. They stated she is currently in stable condition and fully conscious.

Adam Devine revealed that he still feels the effects of injuries he suffered as a child when he was hit by a cement truck at age 11.

“It’s been awful,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I’ve been having spasms all over my body, and doctors told me recently—within the last year—that my condition was life-threatening.”

He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying, “My body has some quirks and isn’t quite perfect.”

I was so worried to hear that one of our Bachelor family members ended up in the hospital! Apparently, he was dealing with terrible back pain, and it got so bad during an RV trip that he literally had to crawl on all fours to get help. It sounds incredibly painful, and I’m sending him all my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

He described a strange tingling sensation that reached from his knees to his toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. To give some context, he explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds. Now, he can’t even do a squat, struggles with single-leg squats, and often falls over, describing the feeling as similar to having a stroke.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Gina Kirschenheiter, from The Real Housewives of Orange County, revealed that her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack in March 2025, but he is recovering well.

In March 2025, the actor from 30 Rock experienced a medical issue at a New York Knicks game and had to be taken out of Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair.

The comedian later posted on social media to explain that he hadn’t been feeling well due to food poisoning, but he was starting to feel better.

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.

In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a weapon unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, evaluated her injuries, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed her right eye by less than an inch.

The Kim Possible actor explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll be keeping a close watch on the situation, as their vision is currently normal.

The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared how much she loves her family and friends, saying she realized how precious life is. “Seeing everything flash before my eyes really made me understand that you should cherish every moment and hug the people you care about,” she explained. “Things can change so quickly.”

I’m such a fan of Amy Schumer, and I was really glad to hear how the internet actually helped her with a health issue! She talked about it on the Call Her Daddy podcast, and it was wild. Apparently, people started commenting on her “puffy” face after some interviews, and she initially just brushed it off. But then, doctors actually started leaving comments, saying they were concerned she might have Cushing syndrome! Can you believe it? She was getting trolled by doctors! It made her realize she’d been getting steroid injections after her breast reduction and C-section, which led to the condition. She said she never would have known what was going on if people hadn’t pointed it out online. Thankfully, she recently shared in her newsletter that she has a type of Cushing syndrome that will resolve on its own, and she’s healthy. It’s such a relief to know she’s okay, and it’s amazing that something good came out of the sometimes-harsh world of the internet.

During a game in December 2024, an AHL player was accidentally cut in the face by another player’s skate and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. After his son made a full recovery, New Jersey Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald shared with ESPN how relieved they were, saying, “We feel very lucky, and I wouldn’t want any parent to go through that.”

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was okay. She then realized she couldn’t speak, and the right side of her face began to droop.

Although her speech and facial movement eventually returned, Hailey went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).

Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel from her heart to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now feeling well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it was becoming increasingly difficult to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, describing the situation as scary and unexpected, but assuring everyone he would be completely fine and was grateful he was on the mend.

As someone who often talks about prioritizing well-being, I was really moved by Jamie Foxx’s openness about his health journey. He initially kept things private, which is understandable, but he recently shared a very personal story in his Netflix special. He described having a terrible headache one day and then… nothing. He literally doesn’t remember the next 20 days. It turns out he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke. He initially went to a doctor who gave him a cortisone shot, but thankfully his sister, Deidra, insisted on getting him to a hospital. After surgery, he woke up on May 4th in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He then spent time in Chicago focusing on rehab and therapy to regain his strength. He’s so grateful for all the prayers he received, and honestly, hearing his story is a powerful reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to listen to your body.

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.

She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather before everything went dark. After that, she saw light, which led her to realize she had died that day.

Let me tell you, I really hit a wall there for a while. I was so unwell, my body was basically starting to fail. It turns out I had something called rhabdomyolysis, and honestly, it’s your body’s way of sending up a huge red flag – a signal that things are seriously going wrong and it needs to protect itself, even if that means shutting down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a severe headache at the gym that quickly escalated. She described collapsing and being violently ill, realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.

A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak coherently.

Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a follow-up scan in 2013 revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia reports she has now made a full recovery and is doing well.

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, credits her family with helping her through a difficult time. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, who quickly came to her aid. She told TopMob News that while she could have left the hospital after the stroke, other health issues, including lupus and kidney problems, required a longer stay. Thankfully, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and has been working to regain some motor skills, but is otherwise doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with serious health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, extreme fatigue, and digestive problems. She saw many doctors, but received conflicting diagnoses.

Drawing on her background in herbalism and holistic health, Shailene sought answers from both traditional doctors and alternative healers, hoping to find relief and understand what was happening to her body.

This search for wellness lasted for ten years. The physical discomfort led to anxiety around food and eventually to body image issues and a struggle with her sense of self.

Fortunately, after a long journey of addressing both her physical and mental health, Shailene is now feeling much better and considers herself very healthy. She’s grateful to be in a good place.
