The official release date for the Mortal Kombat 2 trailer has been confirmed, as a fresh poster for the upcoming film hints at when viewers will be able to see the trailer.
When does the Mortal Kombat 2 trailer come out?
On July 17, 2025, we’ll finally get a peek at the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie trailer! This highly-anticipated sequel to the 2021 live-action film will be unveiled tomorrow. As for the new poster, it doesn’t reveal too many details, but it does showcase the iconic logo of the franchise and the release date – October 24, 2025.
In Mortal Kombat 2, we’ll see the return of Hiroyuki Sanada portraying both Scorpion and Hanzo Hasashi, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han and Sub-Zero, and Max Huang as Kung Lao.
In this latest installment of the Mortal Kombat saga, I found myself immersed in a fresh cast of characters. Karl Urban brings his signature charm to Johnny Cage, while Adeline Rudolph breathes life into Kitana. Tati Gabrielle’s portrayal of Jade is captivating, and Martyn Ford’s performance as Emperor Shao Kahn is nothing short of intimidating. Damon Herriman delves deep into the sinister side as Netherrealm demon Quan Chi, Desmond Chiam brings regality to Edenian King Jerrod, and Ana Thu Nguyen commands attention as Queen Sindel. Each actor adds depth and authenticity to their respective roles, making this a Mortal Kombat movie worth watching.
