
The release date for the upcoming sequel has been adjusted once again. Originally planned for release this weekend, and previously delayed, the film will now premiere on May 8, 2026 – a week earlier than the expected May 15, 2026 date.
The highly anticipated sequel to Mortal Kombat sees the return of beloved characters like Cole Young, Sonya Blade, Jax, Raiden, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Kung Lao, and Kano, along with exciting new addition Karl Urban as Johnny Cage. Together, they must fight in a brutal, no-limits battle to defeat the tyrannical Shao Kahn and save Earthrealm from destruction.
