Choosing the most helpful Life Skill to focus on in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance can be tricky.
You have many options, but limited time and resources. Trying to do everything isn’t realistic or effective. It’s hard to quickly figure out which options are actually worth pursuing.
Okay, so you’re probably wondering which life skills are *really* worth learning, right? Well, I’m glad we’re tackling that together! This is a quick rundown of the most important and helpful ones, in my opinion.
Most Important Life Skill to Prioritize | Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

No matter your goals, the two most important Life Skills to focus on are Mineralogy and Smelting.

Mineralogy is a skill you use to gather rocks and metals. It’s best to fully level up this skill so you can efficiently collect all types of ore.

Smelting refines the ores you gather through Mineralogy. It’s how you create essential materials like Mystery Metals and Mech Shards, so it’s a skill you’ll want to fully develop.
These two skills are the most crucial ones to master. They work together to help you obtain essential items for improving your equipment. This is especially important as you begin using more complex features like Refinement.
It’s best to prioritize Mineralogy first. Make sure you unlock all its gathering talents before you start working on Smelting’s crafting talents. You need to be able to collect the materials before you can actually craft anything, so gathering should come first!
As you improve your Life Skills, prioritize upgrading the Mining Yield and Lucky Smelting talents quickly. These will help you gather more resources and are essential for efficient material collection.
Basically, prioritize learning Mineralogy and Smelting quickly. Collect and save any ores and metals you find, as you’ll need them to improve your gear and abilities.
Gemology and Gemcrafting Are Also Good Later On

Once you progress further into the game and reach the endgame, consider adding Gemology and Gemcrafting to your skills. These will be very useful as you continue playing!
Gemology is a lot like Mineralogy. It’s a skill that lets you collect gem ores, similar to how you gather metal ores.

Gemcrafting works a lot like Smelting. It’s a skill you use to turn raw gem ores into polished gems. You can then add these gems to your equipment to improve its stats.
You don’t have to master all Life Skills. Just focus on learning the Talents connected to the gems you’re interested in.
Each gem boosts a particular stat. Therefore, concentrate on gems that enhance the stats most important for your character class!
To make things simpler for you, here’s a quick list of which gem is tied to which Attribute:
- Emerald – Mastery.
- Sapphire – Haste.
- Ruby – Crit.
- Topaz – Luck.

You can also use specific Gemcrafting Talents to add extra qualities, like Agility, to the gems you create. It’s best to choose Talents that provide the qualities your class needs.
Finally, we highly suggest obtaining Gem Yielding Talents as quickly as you can. They give you a chance to earn extra gems while gathering and crafting, which is a great benefit.
That covers it! You now know which Life Skills are most important to focus on in Blue Protocol – specifically, Star Resonance (and the others!).
