The highly anticipated first-person shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire from Fumi Games has been pushed back to early 2026. It was originally planned for release this year, but will now be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
The developer and publisher, Playside Studios, announced on Twitter that their main focus right now is making sure the game is as good as it can be. This means they’ve delayed the release, but they believe it will ultimately lead to a better experience for players. They were planning to share a release date at the Galaxies Gaming Showcase on October 23rd, but might show something different instead.
We’re considering adding a demo or new gameplay options – we’ll have to wait and see! For now, take a look at this trailer from last April. It shows off the cool sci-fi weapons you’ll be able to use in the game, like the CLEAN-D Turpentine Gun, which melts things with its acid, and the MIND-D Conscious gun, which lets you hypnotize enemies. Keep an eye out for more news and updates on this unique, cartoon-style shooter.
