Following a great gameplay reveal earlier this month, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire released a new trailer showcasing a particularly engaging boss battle.
Okay, so Robo-Betty Mark III is seriously tough! You have to fight through all the older versions first, and each one gives you a real headache. Then, finally, you face the Mark III, and it’s just relentless. It sends out drones to keep you busy while it covers the arena with traps and lasers – seriously, those lasers look like they’d hurt! Plus, it has so much health. I was watching Jack play, and he used practically every weapon he had just trying to take it down!
According to the developers, this boss is one of the most unusual in Mouseburg, and players likely won’t encounter it until later in the game. It seems Jack will need a lot of powerful weapons to defeat it. Plus, Fumi Games has hinted that they’ll share more details about the boss fight and the level it’s in before the game is released.
I’m so hyped for this new boss fight! Apparently, we’ll be facing off against Robo-Betty, and she’s hidden away in a secret lab. The battle is going to be in three stages, which sounds intense! The developers have promised to share more details – like what the level is like – in an upcoming preview, so I’m keeping my eyes peeled!
See Robo-Betty Mark III in action in the trailer below! MOUSE: P.I. For Hire will be released on March 19th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
